Second time back to this hotel and absolutely love the place the staff are really nice and welcoming and helpful nothing is too much trouble

Excellent. Saw sign outside saying bakery. Thought we would pop in and get a sandwich to take away. Ended up having a lovely bacon sandwich. Plenty of bacon in it and well worth the 4.50. Large coffee as well. There is fresh baking as well lovely scones. Decided we would go back for evening meal. Highly recommend but go hungry. Hubby had fish and chips the fish was massive as were the chips. I had beef patty which was home made delicious. If you are in the area and want good quality meal at reasonable prices pop in and the staff are lovely as well.

Had a lovely meal in Tryst. 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Food was lovely especially the lamb course. Excellent service from Beck, very knowledgeable about the food & wines. Chef Ryan coming out at the end of was a lovely touch. Nice end to the dining experience! Will definitely be back and would recommend.

We recently stayed at the park hotel. Our group of 6 were very late arriving on the first night due to motorway holdups and bad weather, but Chef Ryan ensured we all had an excellent meal and provided excellent meals throughout our 3 night stay. The Blade of Beef and Balmoral Chicken were particularly memorable, but there was something to please all tastes on the menu. The staff were very helpful, and the rooms were great. The hotel is situated just off the end of the high street, but the rooms facing the garden are very quiet, with lovely views of the hills. The hotel also hosts swifts and house sparrows, which make it a pleasure to sit in the lovely garden and enjoy the comings and goings. Peebles seems to be a thriving little town, and we enjoyed being able to walk out of the hotel and down the high street to the lovely family bakery (Forsyths) to buy our pack lunches.

Enjoyed our stay. Location excellent, right on the Main Street in Peebles. We ate in the hotel one evening, food was lovely. Staff very friendly. Room was on the small side and the shower was awful. Kept going hot & cold and was not very powerful. I possibly would return but would check if there were any rooms with better showers before returning as that was the only thing that put us off.

Just home from a lovely stay at the park hotel. First impressions were spot on, Val on reception when we arrived was a joy, there's somebody who is certainly in the right job, customer focused. Bedroom 74 lovely view, very comfortable bed great sleep. Quality shower and lovely toiletries. Breakfast very good, quality ingredients. Little maintenance needed in the dining room, worn seating. Lovely outside area, again just needs a bit of tlc, wooden furniture. Definitely will be back. Hugh Julie sneddon

Good location. Good car park. Peebles is a lovely wee village for a weekend break. Room quite small. Only 1 bedside table!!!
