MICHAEL ROBERTSON the so called Front office manager said “there are many other hotels around here, there is Hilton, you can go and stay there if you are not happy with our service” In front of other guests waiting to check in. All this because i gave him some negative feedback about their guest services. I was a hotelier for 14 years even worked for IHG, Hilton, Marriott. But I’ve never seen such careless manager in my life. The AGM WILVER CUPIDO promised me 2 complimentary nights for charging me for the room which was already paid for, but could not accommodate me for 1 night. Wilver said to Michael that he spoke to ******* to give me 2 comp nights. But it wasn’t ******* who messed up, it was EVEN hotel staff who messed up. This is how these 2 so called managers treat a guest who stayed for over 1 month in their hotel. PATHETIC! You should not be fooling with a guest who is hotelier. I will write a in detail feedback about this with your names to every corporate executive at the IHG HQ. Sanju and Goumar are very kind and helpful.
I was here for my high-school 50 yr reunion. The hotel facilities were very nice and my room just down from the banquet rooms. Room and bed comfortable. All the staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced. I was able to get an omlette, meat side, potatoes, toast, fruit, tea and orange juice for my diamond $10.00 allotment including tip. Have not been at many HGI where that us the case.
The hotel is centrally located within Rockville and very close to the highway. The place is somewhat dated and is the original style of Courtyard, with the courtyard in the center. It appears to have been renovated not too long ago, so it’s decent on the inside. The room was nicely done and comfortable and the room’s bathroom operated fine. The staff was friendly. Overall, we had a nice stay here for the weekend. ** The Bistro (in the lobby) ** Several of us were staying here for the weekend, and on our first morning we stopped in to this Bistro for coffee only to have a long wait and some customer service issues. That issue was reported to the manager and they did a nice job replying and addressing it – Thanks! Fast forward to that evening… when we came back from the funeral we spent the day at… We had 3 rooms of family here and also family staying in 3 rooms at the Hilton nearby who wanted to have nightcaps and we planned on changing clothes and heading out, but when we got back, we noticed a bartender there and it was completely dead, so we decided to just stay there. The seating areas for this Bistro are very nice and have some tucked away areas, where all our family could gather. They came over from their Hilton and we had drinks that evening in the Bistro Bar and the bartender was VERY helpful, VERY friendly, and VERY accommodating!! He wasn’t very quick at mixing cocktails, but he was friendly and so much better than the lady working the morning shift!! Lastly… I stopped in Sunday morning for 2 cups of coffee and the young lady (a different one from the day before) who was working the counter was VERY helpful, friendly, and efficient! I was in and out quickly and since she was friendly, I also ordered a pasty and she even offered to heat it up for me. Great service from her and the guy the night before, not sure why the lady working Saturday morning couldn’t be the same. Anyway… If staying at this hotel, hopefully you get good service… it’s available, just have to get the right person to help you out.
