I had a very pleasant stay at Star Hotel Inn Alisa. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The room was very clean, well-ventilated, cool, and comfortable, with a warm and homely feeling.
The location is very convenient, with many food options nearby. There is a 99 Mini Market right next door, which is very helpful if you forget to bring any personal toiletries or daily necessities.
In the evening, the outdoor area is cool and breezy, making it a nice place to sit and relax. At night, the room was quiet and not affected by traffic noise, so I slept very well.
Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Muar, especially for short stays or visiting family.

ผผู้เข้าพักHidden gem in the center if Muar. Entrance is via a small road off the main street but signage is clear. Rooms are very small but ok for a short stay. Bathroom adequate size. Surroundings tranquil and relaxing. Lovely cafe on the premises. There is also a restaurant serving Malaysian and western food but did not try. We chose to stay here as they had EV chargers which are difficult to find in Muar. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel at a great price. Recommended.

The staff were kind and helpful, especially when we had issues with our rooms. The rooms we first received were quite small, and the water stopped running a for a while, but after I reported it, the management quickly changed us to different rooms, which I appreciated.
One thing to note is that there’s no on-site restaurant or nearby place to buy food, you’ll need to order online or drive around 10 minutes to get meals. Overall, it’s a nice place for a quiet getaway with friendly service, but the rooms and basic amenities could be improved.

JJL Food n TravelSpacious room with a clean bathroom. Shampoo, body wash and toothbrush are provided. This is a river view room and the location is convenient! Around 5 minutes walking distance to Food street Jalan Haji Abu and street art. There is many banks and convenience stall nearby too.
No fridge in the room but that fine for me. Staff are friendly and basement parking available but limited spaces, roadside parking is fine.
Will come back again, thank you!

The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and transport options. It’s suitable whether you’re traveling for business or leisure.
Rooms:
The rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. While the decor feels a bit dated, everything is well-maintained. The bed is comfortable, and basic amenities are provided.
Service:
Staff are friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled promptly.
Facilities:
Facilities are fairly standard. Don’t expect luxury features, but the essentials are there. Wi-Fi is available, though the speed can vary.
Overall:
Classic Hotel is a good choice if you’re looking for an affordable, no-frills stay with decent comfort and service. It may not be modern or luxurious, but it delivers solid value for the price.
