Kinchoro is the more exclusive wing of Fuikuichi. The rooms come sight private onsen and it’s similar to most 10 tatami rooms.
The service from the staff is good. They are almost invisible when you don’t need them but will magically appear when you need help, during meal times and check in/out time.
The food unfortunately seem to be so so only. I didn’t find it spectacular, and in fact fringing on being a bit too inventive. Otherwise, all okay.
Location is right in front of the Stone Steps, and in front of the Lawson, so was very accessible to get to places of attraction. They also had private onsens at the sister inn for people that arent comfortable with public onsens. They also placed those yukata (I think thats what they're called) in the lobby so you get to walk around the illuminated stone steps at night. For this price for a solo traveller I think it waa great, everything was comfortable too. The lobby seldom has any staff though so you'll have to call them if you need any help. Still, on the phone they tried their best to help with whatever I needed. Was a great stay!
