JJacob1-1This will likely be our favourite stay of our entire trip! It felt like the most warm homely and welcoming step back into a Japan that is rapidly disappearing.
The food is sublime, effectively a 14 course tasting menu of authentic local food, sat on tatami mats with the wood fires next to you, dressed in a lovely Yukata provided by the ryokan!
I cannot recommend this stay enough, the mountains around are gorgeous. We got off the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka at Mishima station and rented a car for the day to see Mt Fuji and Izu peninsula which all worked out great!
FFabio GiorgioA wonderful ryokan, which offered the perfect combination of tranquility, stunning scenery, and impeccable service. Surrounded by breathtaking natural views, it’s an ideal retreat for anyone looking to escape the bustle of daily life. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful.
The service was exceptional—attentive, warm, and thoughtful. every detail was carefully curated to create an unforgettable experience. highly recommend this ryokan to anyone seeking a serene getaway with top-notch hospitality.
SSAKAMOTO777We had a wonderful stay at Tofuya Resort & Spa Izu last month. The resort is beautifully nestled in a peaceful, green setting with stunning views and fresh air. The onsen and spa facilities were excellent — the hot springs were relaxing and well-maintained, perfect after a day of exploring Izu.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. Staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. The food was delicious, especially the fresh local ingredients.
Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene spa resort in Japan. We would love to return!
ผผู้เข้าพักThe staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains.
EElaineNg_TravellerOur stay at Toi Fujiya Hotel felt like being treated to a 5-star experience. The service was absolutely exceptional - every staff member was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed.
The room was spacious and beautifully comfortable, with plush bedding and a relaxing atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the private onsen in the room - such a luxurious treat and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
And the food… wow! So much variety and every dish was delicious - a true feast that made every meal memorable.
Overall, Toi Fujiya Hotel went above and beyond in every way. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
OOctavia ChungOverall, I really enjoyed my stay at Alim Stay. The room was surprisingly spacious, making it a great escape from the busy streets of Tokyo. One of the highlights was the amazing sunset view from the balcony—it was absolutely beautiful.
The room was slightly dusty in a few areas, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Another thing I loved was the onsen. You can easily make it private by simply locking the door, which was such a nice bonus HAHAHA! It made the experience even more relaxing.
For the price, this place offers fantastic value. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty of space and a beautiful view, I’d definitely recommend staying here.
