The accommodation was really nice and beautifully decorated, with a lovely private area on the balcony. The location was perfect – we could reach many places quickly with a rented bike, and renting one nearby was easy. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great, making the stay even more enjoyable. There were a few small things, like no soap, only one towel for two people, and the water getting cold quickly, but these were just minor details. Once we mentioned them to the reception, they were quickly resolved. Overall, it was a great stay, the price was absolutely fair, and I would definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

This place was a great experience at first--the welcome drink and free breakfast were nice experiences, and the staff was incredibly personal and warm. The room was a standard normal-to-high end solo traveler or coulples ranges. Then came the wild, endless brawl in the hallway outside my room. I was afraid to even open my door. Then, while checking me out, I was told I'd need to pay basically one more night's work in order to rectify that I was ”a menace” during my stay. Justifications for this decision included minor spots left on the toilet sheet” and a picture of a wet bathmat I'd left on the floor. Next came wild proclamations that I had urinated all over the floor (according to them this happened the day before arrival); that I had left puke all over the room; and, most audatioualy, the claim that I had started that riot (during which at least two people were arrested and I had not left my room. An hour of arguing later, we were told that we had to play. Ruthless, lying, **** management, but could be a great place. For now, stay away.

The hotel is reasonably priced. The breakfast is mediocre. However, for this price, including breakfast, this hotel is a good deal in Manado. The rooms are clean, everything works, and nothing is broken. In short, the maintenance is good. Most Western tourists come for Bunaken. They constantly count prices in euros and dollars, resulting in almost anybody in Manado treating Western tourists as cash. This hotel offers car excursions for ridiculously high prices, such as Rp 850,000 per person, while a price of around Rp 700,000 for a car with a driver would be normal. If four Western tourists go on a day trip, they would pay 4 x Rp 850,000 = Rp 3.4 million. The average monthly salary in Indonesia is approximately Rp 3.8 million. In short, Manadonese people should understand that by offering motor cycles and cars for rent and offering excursions at reasonable prices, they can sell much more than by selling excursions to a single tourist at ridiculously high prices. Because I speak Indonesian well, I can arrange a car with driver through the locals for a normal price, but this should simply be offered to Western tourists through hotels.

Amazing Cabin with a scenic view of sunset and ocean and city of Manado. Staff are super friendly and accommodating and cater to every needs (no cap) they helped me renting a motorbike, taught me to ride as well. With complimentary gifts and lighters when i lost mine , and helped with breakfast to my room and carrying my luggage all through whatsapp. Very Good service from staff there. The room itself was very good with adjustable lighting and colors and blurred/clear screen for views. Amenities are also amazing with BBQ pit and fireplace and good 24/7 service. Overall 10/10 for this hotel and very worth for its price. Thanks Bobocabin will definitely visit back again -Zaf 🙂

Wow..the AMARIS Hotel really surprised us. It was the cheapest of 5 Hotels of our Trip to Manado and surrounding and surprised us the most. It is perfect located in the ”Kawasan Megamas”, close to restaurants, shops (unfortunately the second biggest Mall - MEGAMALL was closed due to a fire damage), the seaside and meeting points for the people of Manado to enjoy the evening. In the same building (just aut the main entrance and around the right corner) is a supermarket for all important needs and fantastic Cappuccino (for only 15.000 Rp.) The building is very new, the rooms and bathes are spotless clean. There is a small pool with a great fiew over Manado bay towards Manado Tua and Bunaken. The breakfast selection is sufficient ...but most important: every offered dish tastes fantastic and in many aspects it was better there than in many ”Star”-hotels with bigger choice but boring food. And they also had an egg station for fresh eggs and a kettle of ”Bubur Manado” (or: Tinutuan.) a must try. The Staff was friendly and efficient. Allthough there was no water kettle in the room there was a hot/cold water dispenser on each floor. Any disadvantages? O.k.: It is important to consider that the rooms are very small. Especially for two long distance travellers with big bagpacks. But for some days it´s o.k.. But: The bed is comfortable, the TV offers youtube and the aircon works perfectly. One issue for weekends...directly beside th hotel is a big place. When we were there there were concerts on two evenings - so it can be a little loud (but in all kawasan Megamas) on weekends or special events. All in all: Currently the best value for money in Kawasan Megamas and a good place to have all the comfort of a hotel within the city before continuing rto beach-, mountain- or jungle hotels. the room is super clean, breakfast also delicious, the location is nice, the view also nice, can watch sea from the window. the service is also nice, the people also super nice. only the elevator is kinda difficult because is super busy and long wait. but overall my experience staying in Best Western is super comfortable.

มีน้ำร้อนสำหรับอาบน้ำ มีแอร์และผ้าห่มให้นอนสบายเลย คนขับรถสนามบินทุกคนรู้จักร้านนี้ การนั่งแท็กซี่ไปที่นั่นต้องเสียค่าแท็กซี่ 50,000 หยวน อย่าลืมถามราคาเสียก่อนจะขึ้นรถ ไม่เช่นนั้นอาจจะเรียกเงินถึง 100,000 หยวนเลย โรงแรมมีรถพิเศษไปกลับสนามบิน สามารถจองเวลาไปสนามบินพรุ่งนี้ได้ตอนเช็คอินครับ ค่าโดยสาร 50,000 บาท สบายๆ ครับ ราคาที่เสนอ รถและคนขับจัดเตรียมไว้ให้โดยโรงแรม ชั้น 5 มีบริการบุฟเฟต์อาหารเช้า ประกอบด้วยข้าว, ผัดหมี่, ผัก, ไก่, มันสำปะหลัง, ขนมปัง, ลูกชิ้นงาทอด, กาแฟ และชา ร่ำรวยมาก. เมื่อเลี้ยวซ้ายออกไปจะมีร้านขายของว่าง มีร้านค้าอยู่สามถึงสี่ร้าน ที่นี่คุณสามารถทานอาหารเย็นได้ แต่ฉันไม่รู้ว่าจะทานอาหารเที่ยงได้เมื่อไหร่ ออกมาเลี้ยวขวาเดินต่อไปอีก 3 นาทีจะพบซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ตขนาดใหญ่ที่มีสินค้าครบครันราคาถูก ข้างซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ตยังมีร้านอาหารอีกด้วย
