2024/04/05-08 Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

สภาพแวดล้อมของห้องพักในโรงแรมเกินความคาดหมายจริงๆ สะอาด เป็นระเบียบ โดยเฉพาะผ้าห่มและหมอน ผ้านวมนุ่มมาก ไม่มีความรู้สึกแข็ง หมอนมีหมอนสองใบที่นุ่มและแข็งอย่างใกล้ชิด สบายมาก และอีกอย่างคือ ผู้หญิงที่แผนกต้อนรับก็ดีมากเช่นกัน ข้อเสียอย่างเดียวคือแอร์กลางไม่มีเครื่องทําความร้อน

Lovely quiet escape surrounded by nature. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with big windows overlooking the forest — perfect for slowing down and enjoying doing absolutely nothing for a while. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole stay feel very relaxed and comfortable. There are also some hiking trails nearby, in case you want to explore. The only downside was probably the food: it was not bad, but quite simple, and for the price I expected something a bit more interesting. WiFi was a bit spotty, so I just used my mobile internet. That said, I still loved the trip overall. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest, enjoy the views, and disconnect for a couple of days, this is a great choice.

This place was actually pretty nice in the way it looked and the hotel room was clean. We liked walking around the property, soaking in the hot-spring (hot tub) in our room, and even eating a healthy chicken hot pot dish at the restaurant. The BIG problem was as we got no sleep at all. The walls are paper thin… we heard everything… I mean our neighbors shouting and also doing “fun” things that a guy and gal can do until like 2:30 am. We begged management to say something but the couple didn’t and we were moved to a nearby room (downgraded to smaller). Finally sleep. We got a small discount so that was nice

โฮมสเตย์นี้สร้างขึ้นตามน้ํา บ้านเรือนกระจายไปตามลําธาร มีความสูงและต่ําต่างกัน และระดับที่ชัดเจน เปิดหน้าต่างและประตูเข้าไปโดยตรงในทิวทัศน์ มันสวยงามมาก! วันที่เรามาฝนตกและมีหมอกหนา อากาศชื้นผสมกลิ่นหอมของดอกไม้และต้นไม้ ฟังเสียงน้ําไหลเอื่อย สดชื่น สงบในทิวทัศน์ในชั่วพริบตา ไม่สะดวกอย่างเดียวคือโฮมสเตย์ไม่มีโรงอาหาร ดังนั้นขอแนะนําให้นําขนมผลไม้ที่คุณชอบมาก่อนมา นอกจากนี้ตัวโฮมสเตย์เองก็มีขนม อาหารเช้า และน้ําชายามบ่ายด้วย (เรามาถึงตอน 12.00 น. พลาด)

We had a joyful and relaxing stay at Nankunshan Zaiyundan Wenquan Homestay the past two days. We stayed in the topmost space capsule, which was spacious and luxurious with an amazing view over the hotel and down into the mountain valleys. The hostess was kind, fun and helpful, organising day trips for us and even taking the initiative to order a super cute birthday cake for our daughter’s 13th. We loved swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and eating at the restaurant, where the lovely cook made delicious food for us morning and night. We especially recommend the fish and the eggplant and green bean stirfry. On our last day the hostess organised a driver to take us to the airport via local attractions and the amazing Zhenggou temple - a great finish to our time in China Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return someday!

A Hidden Gem in South Kunshan – Truly the Best Homestay in China 🌿🏡 Our stay at Huaxi Yuguwei Mountain Residences in South Kunshan was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and attentive staff, who truly go out of their way to make every guest feel comfortable and cared for. The room we stayed in was very spacious, with cozy bedding and a private balcony offering stunning views of the mountains and the peaceful backside of the property — a perfect escape into nature. The kitchen team was amazing, consistently serving us fresh, flavorful food with great attention to detail and taste. Every meal felt like it was made just for us. Another thoughtful touch was the WeChat group created by the hosts, which included all the staff. It made communication seamless and allowed them to provide even more efficient, personalized service. Though the property is nestled in nature, shops and restaurants are just a 15-minute drive away, so convenience was never an issue. Without a doubt, this is the best homestay experience I’ve had in China. I will definitely return — not just for the comfort and service, but for the peace, relaxation, and closeness to nature that this place offers. Highly recommended! 🌸🌄

Pros: Clean Room. Good service from employees. Good view of the river and close to restaurants and shops. Cons: Nasty smell of cigarettes throughout the lobby, elevator, and rooms including air conditioner. Lots of people are smoking inside the hotel despite the no smoking signs. Breakfast is good but the quality of the meats are poor. Greedy management charging for water.
