AAsia R 123I travelled to Sarajevo with my two sisters. However, the apartment was extremely spacious and big enough for a large family. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of TV's, there were sufficient facilities that we could make our own breakfast in the mornings. The location was around a 15 minute walk from old town, this was close enough - we could walk there and the neighborhood was nice and quiet, there were also nice places to eat close by as well as a small grocery shop we could buy a few bits from. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and the comfortable apartment played a role in this.

TtwchooVery friendly and attentive staff! Location is perfect as well. Very near many of the highlights in Sarajevo. It is in the old town and a 5 minute walk at most from the Latin Bridge and a 10 minute walk from city hall!

SSJ574Such a delightful place that fully served the purpose of my solo trip to Bosnia. I chose to stay in Sarajevo while I go to visit sites outside of Sarajevo. And I am just showing this view from outside my window (my room has three windows, thank you Demir 😍) to show it is right at the tip of the old town. I often spent a number of times just looking out of the window and watch the world pass by. It was a meaningful feeling. An extra special thanks to Demir for making my stay enjoyable and memorable. Even when I began messaging him before coming (a few months before ☺️) he was very understanding. The self check-in feature was super simple too, and as I arrived much later in the evening after check-in hours, he was on whatsapp assisting me all the way until I reached my room. Hvala, Demir for your tireless efforts and warmness which was one of the highlights of my stay in Sarajevo.

The reception staff, especially the lady at the front desk, was very kind and went out of her way to help us get to the pharmacy and return safely — truly appreciated her assistance. The hotel staff in general were responsive and quick to attend to our requests.
The location is close to the Old City, which makes it convenient for sightseeing. However, it’s situated on a steep hill, so walking up can be quite challenging, especially after a long day.
Breakfast was simple and could be improved — the selection was limited, and the fruits were not very fresh.
Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service and a great location for exploring Sarajevo, but be prepared for the uphill walk and modest breakfast.

ผผู้เข้าพักIncredible hotel with very kind and welcoming staff. Nice and large rooms with an incredible view of the forest, a very unique experience. Would like to extend a thanks to Sanin for making the best hot chocolate I've ever had, and Mladen for serving us in the three times (!!!) we used the downstairs restaurant which had probably the best pizza I've ever had. I never use the restaurant in the hotel but this was seriously exceptional and had plenty of options. I ended up ordering Pizza Trebevic twice on two separate days. The breakfast options were good too.
Special thanks also to Mellisa at the front desk who let us check out late because our flight was late in the evening and greeted us with nothing but kindness, and booked us taxis as we needed.
The only problem you might have with the hotel is that the location is high up in the mountains. Cab drivers probably won't be very pleased to take you up easily and you will feel guilty that they drove so far for you. The hotel is basically in the middle of nowhere but the hikes around the area make it worth it. On the map it looks like it is not far from the main town but it is really far compared to other options. Go to this hotel if you intend to hike often but just bear in mind that you are high up in the mountains, far away from the old town center

It was so hoot in the room and you can't control the heat. I couldn't even sleep. Very disappointing experience, specially for that price for Sarajevo.

JJJGGCCRRWe needed to stay somewhere close to the Sarajevo train station, and Hotel Grand is perfectly located just a short walk away (5-10 minutes). The staff was friendly and even prepared a small breakfast bag for us since we were leaving so early. However the room itself was rather bare-bones, and the shower drain was clearly clogged leading to a lot of flooding. There were exposed electrical wiring in the room and the hallways smelled a bit like an ashtray. Was okay for the money, but not really recommended.
