Hôtel Edgar & Achille

Though there was a problem related to the number of guests, hotel staff helped my family very kindly. I strongly recommend this hôtel considering price and location.

I didn’t appreciate that I asked for a late checkout and they made me pay 80€ just for leaving the room late!

I booked a two night stay at this hotel and unfortunately I didn't think it was acceptable. I ended up finding a different hotel for my second night, which was much more comfortable. There were a few things wrong with my stay. First, the hotel actually has two buildings. They put me on the ground floor of the second building which is attached to the restaraunt. While it was a spacious room it was quite dark, and since it was on the ground floor you really needed to close the blinds to prevent people from seeing inside, making it even darker. The room is adjacent to the restaraunts bathrooms and door access to the second floor. You get a lot of noise from the restrooms and all those doors opening and closing. You can also hear people chatting in the outdoor seating of the restaurant . The free Wifi also kept dropping out and since I needed to do somethings for work this was very inconvenient. Lastly, the nightstands do not have easy access to power outlets and there are no USB outlets either making it inconvenient to charge devices. In my opinion due to these numerous issues this room should not even be given out. They did offer to move me to another room in that same building, but I didn’t think that would address the poor Wifi or some of the noise issues so I opted to leave.

Good location, disappointed restaurant and bar closed on Sunday, could not even relax with just a drink on Sunday evening. Our room was wooden clad with 90 water colours of tree house designs, a bit different to what we expected, but ok

It’s a great location when you get to the city by train. It’s walkable and if you return at late hours there are a lot of open places with people hanging out, it helps to make you feel safe

Stayed for a long weekend in Paris. Nice hotel on a quiet square, but very close to busy areas for food, shopping and bars. Room was clean and comfortable and a decent size - double bed and small desk. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the heating / cooling - it seemed to be locked, but luckily the weather was decent so didn't need it.

Room was very nice and clean. Staff was helpful, friendly, and English fluent. Very good value for the price, I will stay here again.

Small rooms, but it's Paris! It is a very convenient location, walkable and with many options nearby. It's a super quiet hotel, which is a plus! I would only say that the breakfast/restaurant is expensive for what it offers. Find other locations nearby with better offers.

Good location for exploring Paris. Good sized room for our family of three. Would recommend.
