Very pleased with the hotel itself. My only negative was the charge for overnight parking. It was likely stated on their internet site but I did not notice it. Had I known about the charge I may well have stayed elsewhere.

Very conviently near restaurants, although there is a fee for parking and they charge for breakfast. Overall the room was clean, but the showers leak water onto the floor.

Even when the heater didnt work they had no issue getting me moved so my kids would be warm. Excellent service

It was clean and when I had a problem with the hair dryer they jumped right on in and had it fixed within minutes. However, they charge $15 a night to park in their own parking lot and $15 a person for a breakfast I wouldn’t have eaten had I known how bad it was. Like really bad for $15.

The new manager of the Grand River is doing an excellent job. I stay there about once per month, sometimes for 2-3 days in a row. I live in the Roaring Fork Valley but I go to the Grand Valley often as a short getaway and I get a lot of work done in my room where the WiFi is excellent. They always keep the jacuzzi running well and also the laundry facility. This is my favorite hotel in the Glenwood Springs-to-Grand Junction I-70 corridor. The staff overall is friendly and accommodating. The views of the Colorado River wetlands from the third floor are very nice. I wish TCM was on the TV lineup but that’s a minor issue and I can get it on my computer anyway! I love the Grand River in Parachute and also its sister property, the Grand Vista. And you can’t get a better price anywhere. Kudos!

Adding in a $14 “parking fee” is a rip off and feels like a way for them to get reservations because of the inexpensive rate, but then add in $14 when you arrive.
Still was a fine stay though, no complaints besides the parking fee.

Room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and it wasn’t great. Somehow both burnt and undercooked.
