The property is just fine. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is always hot water in the bathroom and the shower. The cable TV lineup could be a little better, with more options. The hotel next door has Direct TV in each room and many more channels so maybe that's something management and ownership of the Grand River could consider. The internet ran well today and enabled me to do my work. The pool and hot tub seemed to be clean and in good working order. Cassie and her staff are doing an excellent job.

The beds are hard and the pillows were tiny. Not a place we would stay at again or recommend to family or friends.

Overall: Good value for price.
Cons: Bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, parking was charged in a rural area which is unheard of and totally odd, no continental breakfast - we went elsewhere, and prices of parking and breakfast were more than originally stated on other materials. The hotel management can do better in these areas.
Pros: Quiet, long pool hours, and nice pool/hot tub. Friendly staff. Clean. Convenient location. Would stay again.

Very pleased with the hotel itself. My only negative was the charge for overnight parking. It was likely stated on their internet site but I did not notice it. Had I known about the charge I may well have stayed elsewhere.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It is weird that they charge for self parking but other than that a great hotel.

Very conviently near restaurants, although there is a fee for parking and they charge for breakfast. Overall the room was clean, but the showers leak water onto the floor.

Even when the heater didnt work they had no issue getting me moved so my kids would be warm. Excellent service

It was clean and when I had a problem with the hair dryer they jumped right on in and had it fixed within minutes. However, they charge $15 a night to park in their own parking lot and $15 a person for a breakfast I wouldn’t have eaten had I known how bad it was. Like really bad for $15.
