Stayed in this property for 2D/2N on our way from ***ali to McLeod Ganj and sharing my experience. The Good - 1. Location of the property, conveniently located on Palampur Road, with tea gardens in the backyard. 2. The room size is spacious (Super Deluxe Mountain View with Balcony) with a clear view of Dhauladhar Peaks overlooking an open garden 3. Cleanliness is good, both in rooms and overall. The Ok - 1. Food was good but the first day they didn't have breakfast buffet so it was made to order, no complaints there though. 2. Staff were courteous but cold in their behaviour except the supervising ***ager who looked enthusiastic. 3. The bathroom was bit dimly lit that made it appear dirty, request to look into this. The Bad - 1. Considering Palampur is an offbeat destination, the price charged seemed on the heavier side. There was something missing in the overall stay, perhaps because of less visitors as it was weekdays and nothing specific that would make the stay memorable. Anybody visiting Palampur can opt for this if the stay is short because except Bir Billing and Baijnath Temple, Palampur per se has nothing much to offer.

I had stayed with my two sons from 03 May to 5 May 2024. Very very slow check in with price negotiation for extra bed inc breakfast though it was already fixed on phone for Rs 1000/- per night BUT staff at reception was de***ding 1500/- per night and was insisting to pay then only which was refused by us We had opted for superior room Room service have been very slow throughout Formality filling breakfast they serve Like a single star hotel Paid dinner was good Paan Ice cream was very tasty Check out was again horrible with the lady staff sitting at front desk Everyone was complaining for breakfast food Also for late check out we heard lady saying to guest that 500/- for half an hour Shocking They lack hospitality definitely

Beautiful hotel with great customer service. Visited with family and friends. Really clean hotel and service was really good. We had dinner there and food was great.Breakfast needs improvement but overall well done. Definitely we will be back

We stayed in july 1st week.. it's a beautiful place with awesome views nice neat and clean rooms.. Food was delicious. . Nice staff specially Mr. KAPIL very supportive helpful. . Views of tea estate and mountains refreshs ur mood

The stay in the Mastiff Hotel was an added treat to our trip to Palampur. The food, as well as the staff, is up to the mark; they leave no stone unturned to make the stay of their guest comfortable me livable. The vicinity of the hotel is serene and one can attain peace and tranquillity here. The ambience is too good to be true in a place like Palampur. I give five stars to the hotel and to the hospitable staff. Especially to Mr. Kapil at the front desk and Mr Sunil at the restaurant. Kudos to you guys!! Keep up the good work😊 Suprio & Family

During ,my first visit my friend took me there for lunch and it was nice experience and met with Mr. Anil also and he shared his number as well that during next visit i can just look for him. After this i visited two times this place and food was simply horrible Mr. Anil didn't pick even a single call both the times. Never had that kind of pathetic food. Surprisingly when I asked for bill as told them we are getting late it took them almost 30 mins and still didn't receive the bill and pay it ***ually. Over rated place with 0 service not at all recommended.

Excellent place with the good a**osphere & delicious food. Spacious and big rooms great hospitality with polite staff. Beautiful view from the balcony with sunrise. Highly recommended for the family vacations.
