Sonachan House

My husband and i went to the Sonachan Guest House in Paignton, with Son and Daughter- in- law, for a 4 nights stay and what a lovely couple we found there in Leanne and Aaron, nothing was too much trouble for them, the rooms were beautifully clean and the bedding exactly the same, especially the pillows they were the best I've ever experienced when on holiday (wonderful) the breakfast is a continental breakfast which had all you would need to eat, and they themselves as i have said were truly a lovely friendly couple in my book you couldn't want for more, so if you are ever down that way, definitely give them a ring you won't go wrong,, thank you both for our brilliant stay Kathy and Tony Gee

Myself and my children stayed at Sonachan house for the first time a few weeks back and I highly recommend!! The house and rooms are absolutely beautiful and renovated to a very high standard. The room was so clean and comfortable it really was a home away from home. The breakfast was also amazing and the Netflix in the room was a big hit with the kids at night-time. This is a super cute little guest house - Leanne and Aaron are great friendly hosts , nothing is too much trouble. Our room ( in fact the whole place) was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a really nice self service continental style breakfast with lots of choice - the homemade banana bread is the best I've ever tasted! 🤤 The guest house itself is just outside the town centre but within walking distance to the town/seafront. Would definitely stay again!

The room i stayed in was lovely, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed, lovely white cotton sheets, lovely soft pillows, duvet nice and cosy. Had a very good nights sleep. The owners Aaron and Leanne could not do enough for you Anything you wanted or needed you just had to ask and they did the best to comply. If not an alternative was sourced if possible. Televisions were provided in the rooms or could be watched on the larger television in the newly renovated sitting room. The breakfast was continental with a very good selection of products. Tea and coffee was available. I would certainly recommend this B&B to anyone who may be visiting this lovely area of Devon. The Air show was on so that was a bonus. Fantastic Display by the Red Arrows. Well worth a visit to Sunny Devon.

Beautifully refurbished guest house with lovely modern decor. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. 10/10 for cleanliness. Aaron and Leanne are amazing hosts who are always willing to help with anything you need. Here they serve a lovely continental breakfast which was perfect for us as we are not into greasy fry ups. Lovely selection of warm pastries, fresh breads, pancakes, waffles. As well as cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and cheeses. They have a wide variety of teas and coffees or juices if you prefer. Absolutely amazing stay here. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and good value for money. You won’t be disappointed here

Had a fantastic long weekend at Sanachan house,weather was glorious so a good start. We were welcomed by Aaron and Leanne who couldn't have done any more for us,they were great hosts.The Continental breakfast was wonderful,so much to c.hoose from,cereals,fruit salad,cheeses and meats hot pastries,plenty to fill you up to start your day.The beds were comfy and the rooms very clean. We will definitely be back. Thankyou Aaron and Leanne for a great stay,

What a stay!! I can’t thank Leanne and Aaron enough for making us feel so welcome, it was like a home away from home. We stayed here for the long bank holiday weekend with my 8 month old daughter and husband. Leanne and Aaron couldn’t have done more for us if they tried. The room was amazing it was so spacious and to a high standard, the view was amazing of the sea also from the room. The continental breakfast was just delicious with plenty on offer which was cooked and served when arrived down for breakfast so it was fresh for us. Sonachan house is situated in a prime spot, a 5 minute walk to Paignton pier and beach where you will find plenty of bars, pubs and restraunts to choose from. I would highly recommend sonachan house if you are looking for an enjoyable stay with amazing hosts. We will definitely be back in the summer, Thank you Leanne and Aaron.

Wow what a stay . My friend and I spent two nights at Sonachan House and left wanting more . Aaron and Leanne could not do any more for us . They were so welcoming, informative about the area and places to eat . The continental breakfast was delicious, with plenty on offer . We stayed in two newly renovated rooms of high standard , the best night sleep I've had in years . The rooms provided tea and coffee facilities and also bottles of water . The bar was a lovely bonus,. A relaxing area to have a couple of drinks before going out for our meal on the evening . The hotel itself is situated in a lovely position a short walk to both Paignton and Goodrington I spent Sunday morning sat watching the world go by in Goodrington it was lovely . I would therfore, highly recommend staying at Sonachan House to anyone wanting a relaxing and enjoyable break with excellent hosts. Thank you Aaron and Leanne we will be back 🥰

Aaron and Leanne had taken over Sonachan House just a couple of weeks prior to our stay. We descended 'en mass' as we are quite a large family group and have been coming to this hotel for many years. Aaron and Leanne were extremely welcoming and helpful all week and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel has everything needed for a comfortable home from home and was immaculately clean. For those not familiar with the area, this hotel is just perfectly placed between Goodrington and Paignton and is just a 10 - 15 mins walk to either. Breakfast was fabulous. We will definitely be back, from the Shakespeare's etc
