Spotlessly clean. Newish building so no faults. A little short staffed service wise.
But an excellent hotel and food is good. Privilege room so nice view also. And bath robe and slippers. 1night stay.

Stayed for the weekend as a couple had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning everything was lovely and tasty, waitress we had was exceptional friendly didnt catch her name but she is a credit to the hotel. We will return without any doubt

This is a great hotel. Pristine condition, friendly staff and a good sea view. Only one gripe - expensive car park with narrow and clearly insufficient spaces for the guests. We had the last space and had to squeeze the car in between another car and pillars, driver having to exit through the passenger door.

Good Value - Great Room - Restaurant service was not the most efficient and left a lot to be desired but the food was good. Car Parking charges were excessive and EV Charger was not working.

This was my first time at the Mercure Hotel in Paignton . Hotel was lovely and the staff were very pleasant , the only problem and hopefully it was just a lack of experience was that the waitress and waiter that served us forgot to put our main course order through so we were waiting a long time and also when we ordered 1/2 pints we were served pints so just need to listen and have a bit more attention to detail . The only other thing was being charged £15 per night for parking didn’t see that advertised when I made the booking so would be good to be a bit more transparent. Besides that really impressed with the hotel .

Fabulous stay in the new Mercury, loved the decor throughout. Gorgeous room, super-comfy bed, brilliant night’s sleep. We will back.
