Red Roof Inn Kalamazoo West - Western Michigan Univ

Red roof in took our money accepted our reservation we drove hours to get to the hotel to check in when the lady says she has no rooms left and I'm out of luck and to call ******* support. I was without hotel room and money for the night because of this hotels incompetency to call customers who made reservations and give them a heads up and still leave their listings online showing 6+ rooms left.

Was a cheap stay. Room was somewhat clean. The bathroom was rhe worst part. Toliet was not secured. We had the room next to the check in office. Was very loud.

I went to check in at 6 p.m they had no rooms ready after working out in the 0 degree weather all day just wanted a room to relax poorly managed wasn’t impressed won’t be back after this incident. Definitely some changes needed at this hotel. Then heat issue at first in room staff got all frustrated wasn’t very friendly. Stay away from here if you can. Mainly used as housing it appears.

It was a good for a one night stay. A little loud from people outside. The entry door was hard to open. Bathroom needs a little help. But all in all, it was fine for someone who was just passing through.

My stay here has been extremely good and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed my stay here. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for nice,friendly, clean establishment.

Nice place for the money but loud though tons of dogs barking at odd hours. Staff was kind room was clean no shampoo or soap left though. Overall decent place and a lot nicer than others in the area in this price range

Friendly staff! Clean room just a little bit outdated and couple electronics were busted

The front desk staff are so welcoming and professional! Everything smelled and looked clean .The first room I had didn’t have a remote n some lights we’re working so they politely switched me to another comfortable room for me my sister and our children.. this is one of the best calm red roof hotels I have been in and I will be back for another stay !

For a hotel on the cheaper end it wasn’t too bad. It was close to shopping areas and dining and easy to get to from the highway. Staff was friendly and professional and pleasant. Room needed some work though. Table was worn down and stained in areas and bath tub was stained and dirty looking and the toilet paper roll holder didn’t even fit in the holder so it flew off when you tried to use it. Bed was comfy and looked clean and the free Wi-Fi had great signal. I would stay again for sure.
