Great location, easy communication with the main attractions of the village. The cuisine was delicious, various dishes and wine list. The rooms could have been more spacious. Room service at a satisfactory level. The staff was very helpful and cordial. I can wholeheartedly recommend this facility.

Friendly and helpful staff, simple but clean and comfortable rooms. Complimentary ski guide and hiking/snow show guide was wonderful for our mixed ability and activity family group. Very good breakfast and good choice for dinner. Complimentary afternoon snacks and drink a nice way to come in after being out all day, or a relaxed way to start an evening. Fab spa, indoor/outdoor pool and sauna. Perfect for relaxing. Came home glowing and revived and can't wait to go back.

We arrived in the heart of ORTISEI Italy South Tyrol region in the Hotel Angelo Engel. The hotel lies just by the Dolomite alpine mountains and is ideally situated for both sports and alpine town activities. The courtesy shuttle takas one to and from the ski lifts to the hotel. They also provide ski rental services by a third party, but works very very conveniently. The hotel offers a variety of activities for the whole duration of the stay. There are even complimentary daily afterski servings at the beautiful hotel lobby. The bartender, was super. His enthusiasm and shere professionalism wrapped in a smile and twist in making our drinks and our stay better was more than you could imagine. Super guy👏 The personnel and the staff of the hotel were extremely nice and helpfull in everything. The cuisine in the Angelo Engel was absolutely fantastic. Their attitude, effort and seamless service in every single detail was astonoshing. The hotel also offers several saunas and an indoor/outdoor heated pool, gym and a spa. Again very very luxorious. The skiing is the best in the world. I want to give the biggest credit to our hotel. After all it is the other place you spend the most time during your stay. Hotel Angelo Engel gets a strong and solid recommendation from us. This was our 14th visit in the Dolomites/ South Tyrolean region. So we have a lot of prior experience.

The hotel and staff are fantastic, rooms really nice and outdoor pool and especially cosy outdoor sauna stole our hearts. Location was perfect and transportation to the lifts was smooth. Rental company provided ski equipment to and from the hotel, so no heavy lifting was required for our side. Food was delicious leaning on fine dining, but if you preferred Wiener schnitzel that was available, no questions asked. We’ll be back!

We, family of four, had a very nice experience at the Hotel Angelo Engel. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and practical. All areas of the hotel and dining rooms were extraordinarily cleaned and well kept. Practical ski- and bottroom to aide in getting ready for the slopes. All services worked great; the shuttle bus to and from the slopes and the very helpful and knowledgeable ski guide. The hotel also had great relations with a ski rental place that delivered equipment to the hotel and a taxi company that took are of the transfer to/ from the airport. The staff throughout the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was very nice, and even offered treatments. The food was great overall and the staff in the bar and restaurant was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Good breakfast buffet and a very nice four course dinner. They also provided snacks in the afternoon at the bar.

The hotel was excellent - from the location (practically in Ortisei center), to the staff. Room cleaning was perfect, the restaurant servers were quick, patient and friendly, the registration staff helpful and very polite, and the barman Nico - legendary... Great ski locker room with quick and helpful shuttle service. The room was spacious and soundproof. The breakfast and dinner were excellent thanks to a very good kitchen. The pool (inside and outside) is large, though it could have been slightly warmer. The relaxation lounges perfect, and the saunas very adequate though a bit limited in choice (two Finnish saunas and one steam bath).

For us, what stood out for our family was the warmth of the staff. They were so attentive to detail, ready to help, and always delivered with a smile. The hotel was the true epitomy of a well,run family owned business which understood the value of good service. Amazing pool and sauna, plenty of fresh towels, spotless room every day when we returned, great ambience in the bar. For those that do not know the resort, it is a huge bonus having a minibus to run you each morning to your choice of ski lift, and even bigger bonus to pick you up at the end of the day. My only suggestion? Maybe a hot breakfast option that was a little more enticing? Thank you Hotel Angelo, and we may well be coming back.

Excellent family owned hotel. The staff is very well skilled and highly attentive. Breakfast and starters are excellent. Drinks at the bar are varied and will fulfil most requirements, nice sitting. Small and nice in and outdoor pool, spa area. Tidy rooms. All very well cleaned and maintained. Next to town centre and ski areas few 100m away, in town shuttle service with private busses. Highly recommendable
