Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark, an IHG Hotel

Great place to stay with your family and friends!

Numerous code violations, to include hotel elevator expired certification. Once got to hotel amount I paid doubled due to resort fees and parking. Resort features like big pool were all closed down

Hotel pool was closed for repair, checking in took almost an hour. Could not sleep due to guest yelling and swearing after 11 pm had to call security to get them to stop. Breakfast was 60 $ for 2 people when it was advertised for 19$ a person. Could not get a seat by the water park way over crowded. Had to ask maintenance for toilet paper and find a maid for towels. Hotel fees were double what was advertised. Very upset may never use this app again

Would not recommend staying here. Beds are very uncomfortable, old mattresses and linens. Guest smoking pot everywhere and leaving trash everywhere. Rooms are somewhat clean but expect better for the money you pay.

I would’ve rated everything a five star but the morning when it was my check out. I was trying to get rest before getting on the road & they decided they wanted to do construction early in the morning. We called the front desk they said they would ask them not to be so loud. Nothing changed. They told us they can give us an additional hour. Now when I first checked in I asked did they do late check out they said call the morning off & they give two hour courtesy check out. When the morning came they said they only can do the hour that’s all they had available. But they tell everyone that because my sister called the day before and they said the same thing. So now when they doing construction they tell me they can give me an additional hour. I would’ve been grateful but the construction never stopped & sound like they were going to come through the wall & the construction didn’t stop. I didn’t understand why they didnt do construction later on in the day or afternoon when normal people aren’t asleep. Long story short they gave us until four to checkout. But half that time they were doing construction. Your last day at a resort celebrating your birthday you & your family stay up late to enjoy the final day & get rest before leaving. We had a very long drive to our destination & it was very difficult & stressful the morning of. Also there is only one elevator that is shared with guest & employees. It’s very slow and small. When employees go on with the cart no one else can fit

Property was trashy, dark and dirty. Not enough parking to accommodate and $29 a night for parking is disappointing.

Check in was slow. Resort member was very pushy to get us to come to timeshare presentation and got upset when I declined. Pool was good, but got busy and not enough seating

They had construction happening in the room above us which started at 8 a.m. so we weren't able to sleep in on a vacation. The hot water was turned off for over 24 hrs and we weren't offered any refunds for any of these inconveniences. I know its Florida, but it's never fun seeing cockroaches scatter every time you turn on lights in a place you sleep. Would not recommend.
