Valamar Amicor Green Resort

We cannot fault this beautiful Valamar resort, set in idyllic Gardens, the villas are contemporary, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you need at hand. the pool is fantastic for children of all ages and Maro play centre is a wonderful addition to every holiday. Staff are always at hand very friendly and attentive, thank you Amicor Green, we cannot wait to return!

Wow, wow, wow we felt fortunate to have visited amicor green resort and loved every moment of our holiday. The location is idyllic in a bay set by the beautiful, quaint town of stardi gard. The resort really is spectacular with family facilities across every age group second to none. The variety, maro club activities, poolside with slides and adventure play throughout this resort is phenomenal and very well considered for families. The staff are attentive, friendly and can’t do enough for you, the food was high quality, varied and plentiful. Accommodation ranges are vast with villas, apar**ents with pools, hot tubs and large terraces - much variety across every price bracket. We have visited 4 valamar resorts throughout Croatia and Amicor is very special. Very nice and modern resort. Everything was clean and perfect. Staff are so helpful especially waiter Domagoj he was nice and profesionall. Lot of sport activites, tennis , football , basketball ,beach boards. We will came bacl again ....:))!!

A lovely, relaxing resort - designed for younger kids, but my older teenagers used the neighbouring hotel. Lovely experience! The buffet was delicious and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Easy walking distance to the town. Totally recommend it!

Stayed here August 2023, 2 adults and two kids ( 11 and 13) and was a brilliant holiday. Stayed in a family suite with terrace, hardly used the terrace as so hot outside but inside was perfect with good air con, a microwave, coffee machine, kettle and a small fridge. The resort is very well laid out and really well geared up for younger children but even at 11 and 13 ours still had lots to do and had huge fun in the swimming pool and slides, on the pool tables, table football and table tennis. There are also impressive gaming facilities in the kids club that older kids can use with up to date games and consoles. Also outdoor cinema every evening for kids and there is playground equipment dotted around the whole resort. You can also use the facilities in the hotel next door (Places) and there a couple of pebble beaches and lots of places to swim. Next to the resort are inflatables in the sea which are really fun, 10euros for an hour. The half board meals were excellent, lots of choice and never too crowded. Drinks are extra, a glass of wine approx 9 euros. At lunch the a la carte restaurant has lots of choice and pizza (about 12-15 euros) etc can be served by the pool. The resort has good sports facilities, Beach volleyball, tennis and football as well as fitness classes. Outside of the resort, Stari Grad is a quaint and beautiful town and there is an hourly boat shuttle there for 2 euros each (or 20min walk). Has an reasonable supermarket for extra drinks etc. and lots of cafes and restaurants. Not nearly as touristy or commercial as Hvar town. All in all, a fantastic family holiday!

Everything was perfect from the get go. The villas are extremly comfortable spaceous,clean and beautifull. The staff is welcoming and very friendly.Kids had a blast at the pool on the slides,and getting creative with the team in Maro club. Face painting,movie watching nights on open air and so much more! If you are looking for a family oriented place that will be kind but fun for your kids,give them a try! Im sure you wont be dissapointed.

A really good resort. Good accommodation, food, staff, and overall service. Access to adjacent Places Resort which is really nice. Hire a bike (€15 for a day) and explore the island. Easy access to the beach/sea. Close to Stari Grad. Strongly recommend.

I love going to Valamar hotels. Always great, usually exceeding expectations. This new hotel is nice with certain advantages, but there are some unacceptable flaws. We are generally happy with our stay, as it was very family and child friendly. Our children were very satisfied, but from the adult perspective we have had some major concerns. Coming to Valamar I always expect something great, especially since the price in high season was very high. Pros: - very nice villas with well equipped terraces (especially the ones with seaview) - nice location - friendly staff - very good Maro Kids Club - very good swimming pool and slides for kids - 3 sport grounds (free access) Cons: - very low quality housekeeping; the villa was clean when we arrived, but during our 7 day stay it was hardly ever cleaned; the terrace wasn't even swiped or mopped; I am not sure if the shower was cleaned even once; coffee capsules refilled only from time to time; sometimes after we returned to the villa we were not even sure if any housekeeping was done. In our previous Valamar stays the rooms were alway cleaned spotless every day. - food; dinner buffet was generally ok but a little boring; the breakfasts were very disappointing. The hotel advertised their food as local and homegrown, but in reality it was a very medium quality continental breakfast. The only fresh vegetable during breakfast were tomatoes, everything else was grilled or pickled. No choice of regional cheeses or ham, very limited choices. The only upside - the possibility to make your own freshly squeezed juice. - the hotel in general does not have any fence; people were walking by our house even though there was no walking path at this location; some villas were located basically at the promenade - despite what the website suggests, the hotel does not have its proprietary beach, You can use beaches at the nearby Valamar Places hotel - expensive drinks and food at the restaurant

We had shorty but sweet stay at Amicor Green Resort. Pool area is great with baby pool, small slides, big slides, swiming area, lots of fun for whole familiy. Kids enjoyed swiming in the pool, and we enjoyed relaxing on the sunbeds. Also the staff was very helpful and pleasant, specially miss Ivana at the reception. For sure, we are comming again next year.
