This is an excellent budget property. The location is great and is very close to city center and main sightseeings. It have many good restaurants close by so no need to worry about food. Rooms are very clean and maintained. I would prefer this property again for my next travel.

The hotel stay was amazing. we enjoyed it..all the main places are around the hotel so, it was pretty easy for us to travel and the room was very clean and good, we will surely visit again 😇👍

Was a pleasant stay at the place well maintained property and friendly staff. Mr.Vivek who I believe is the manager was available for all the queries prior to travel and throughout due to the weather conditions and Mr.Sanjay very friendly too. Overal 5 🌟 rating from me.

The property is well maintained, the staff were very proactive. Room had a very ambient setting, clean, Toilet and bath were very clean. Sleep was good with comfortable mattress and fluffiest pillows. Restaurant staff had a pleasing smile and conversation. I used Spa facility. Unlike the experience of other bigger properties spa gave a an unique experience. I felt Spa tabel was clean, the spread and towel, bath was immaculately clean. Staff Vishnu and Greeshma were well trained to give a curative kind of massage, which I never had in spas of other property. They knew how to relieve me from pain and stress. Wish the spa team all the best. I will remember them

VVijayakumar G AFirstly, I was given a room in an extension block that seemed to have been built recently. It was modern but lacked the charm and character of a true heritage property. The main building, with its fireplace and historic ambience, was nowhere to be found. This was especially disappointing considering the premium price I paid, comparable to what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel.
The lack of attention to detail continued throughout my stay. When I checked in on a rainy day, I had to walk to the extension block without an umbrella despite the muddy road. The staff seemed unbothered by this inconvenience. Additionally, the room didn't have slippers, and the floor was cold, with no heating available (although they did provide a basic room heater when requested).
To make matters worse, I had to call the front desk to confirm my room for the second day, which should have been done automatically as part of their standard procedure. This lack of efficiency only added to my frustration.
The toiletries were also woefully inadequate, with only basic soap and shampoo provided. Power cuts were frequent, and I had to notify the front desk each time, which seemed like a hassle the hotel should have anticipated.
The breakfast buffet was uninspiring and lacked flavour. To make matters worse, I had dinner at their restaurant, which was rated top in Ooty, but my experience was average at best. To add insult to injury, they got our order wrong, substituting Nasi Goreng (fried rice) with Mee Goreng (fried noodles). When I brought this to their attention, they made no effort to compensate for the mistake.
In conclusion, Hotel King's Cliff fails to live up to its reputation as a heritage property or even a 2-star hotel. The overpricing and lack of attention to detail make it a poor choice for travellers seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ooty.

ผผู้เข้าพักHotel location is good......Common areas are well maintained however the rooms are not as reflected in photograph on the website....Restaurant is not well ***aged although the staff is good but I feel there is a lot of scope for improvement. ...Buffet breakfast is good....Biryani taste was good....Food in general was good...Had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the hotel staff to transfer my luggage from room during checkout.....There was a lot of difference between the price as mentioned on trip.com and directly with hotel.....Trip.com was less for the same Privilege Suite....

My family & I loved the property and the entire team was exceptional. Karthick and the team at the Front Desk; Abhishek and the restaurant team; Ravi, Bharathi and the housekeeping team; and the grounds team; all were very welcoming, hospitable, and very professional. The attention to detail was excellent - from the flowers placed in my parents' room to the birthday touches! I also loved that the hotel was pet-friendly as this really made a difference for my 5-year-old niece. We also loved the games organized in the evenings by the bonfire - not to mention going to bed with a fire burning in an actual fireplace! Thank you for making our holiday memorable!
