What a little Gem full of character beautiful location and a Land Lady Tess who was so lovely and so thoughtful well above what you would expect . We were going to Ascot she sorted out our Taxi she got us water as it was really hot and we got back late and the chef had gone home she cooked us a meal what a star will definitely go back .

6 adults booked for a visit to Ascot races. Rooms a bit on the small side, however very clean and comfortable, great location. The a**osphere in the pub is great, good food and amazing hosts. I would highly recommend, we would defiantly stay again.

Having booked this family room months in advance for an annual occasion we traveled 3 hours to be with friends and family. An hour after we arrived and ironically on our way to book in we get a phone call from Dom, who proceeds to tell us, in very fowl language whilst we have a small child and an elderly relative in the car, that he has NO room for us, no real excuse, leaving us with nowhere to stay. Quite frankly disgraceful, there are ways of telling people you are about to let them down, why he couldn’t have informed us the day before at least, I don’t know. Rude, disrespectful and unreliable

I made a booking on 15th April for 2 rooms on 23rd April 2022. On the morning of the 21st April I received a call from the hotel to say they had to cancel my booking as they had water issues and would not be able to accommodate us. They said ******* would rearrange another hotel! I called on the mobile number they gave and the landline number - no luck! I tried all morning. I finally got through to them at 2.23pm, twenty three minutes after they had taken my £168. They said they were sorry and that they would arrange with ******* to get my refund. Well several weeks later I still have no refund. the hotel do not answer calls and the voicemail box is full. ******* have requested the hotel to authorise the refund! I'm waiting in hope but not very hopeful. I will probably have to get a refund from the credit card company unless ******* step it up. This is totally unacceptable and this hotel should be checked by various sites it is listed on. Travellers should be protected.

Booked this little gem as I was attending a local event. Liked it so much I extended my stay. Meals are very good and reasonable cost. Bedroom was pristine and an amazing power shower. Very quiet at night so excellent for sleeping. Staff really welcoming.

Tessa the landlady made us welcome right from the start. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for three nights, breakfast was excellent and there was a good choice of evening meals. It was fantastic to see the kite birds every morning feeding from food put out by Tessa whilst we were eating our breakfast on the patio. Slight downside was that the accommodations is a bit dated and the Inn really needs a good update. WiFi was non-existent in our room but ok in the bar. Tessa is fully aware that the Inn requires a full makeover which hopefully is on the cards later in the year. But I assure you Tessa made up for all the “faults”. I have no hesitation to recommend the Union Inn

Such a lovely place , so accommodating, there was a big group of us for Sunday roast , nothing was a problem , Tess could not do enough for us likewise the lovely staff , food was lovely , rooms immaculate, a traditional pub in old Windsor, highly recommended

Disappointed. The landlady is really nice but unfortunately the rooms were not up to standard at all. It isn’t a 4 star hotel. Really is false advertising! My parents paid for their room whereas we had a voucher. After we left my mother told me their bathroom had a hole in the wall! The floors were filthy. It is very run down! And in desperate need of TLC! Such a shame !
