Le Parc Hotel Obernai & Spa

Check-in simple/professionnal, but not warm neither smiling. Room are small but very clean. Small building so we felt like family hotel. Reception at the spa is the same: quick explanations, we had the impression to catch a train instead of being welcomed to a wellness spa (a smile with a sweet voice would be a plus for the 500€ we spent during 1day+1night, even during rush hours). The Yonaguni spa itself is amazing Restaurant staff was friendly and efficient.

The hotel and spa is amazing, amnesties are great, clean, new and modern. The yonaguni spa is brand new, well made, the food is great. However the spa is very packed and loud, trying to relax in the hot stone relaxing room, you will barely hear the birds sounds and mostly hear people shouting and showers. What gave the 3/5 star is the incompetent staff. We drove hours to get there early at 9am, only to find out that the spa was opening only at 10am « exceptionally » this day, also to hear that real spa with sauna etc is only opening at 11am this day, with only the pool available until then. We arrived at 9:45 at the yonaguni entrance, greeted by the staff to tell us to wait at the bar enjoying a coffee. By the time we finish the coffee and get back, we find a long line with a queue time of 20mins. We thought to ourselves: « we were early, they could have just given us the lockers early so we could change straight away » but no. We waited and entered only at 10:30am. Telling the staff about our disappointing experience for a beginning of a relaxing day, the lady handled the situation quite agressively telling us that « it is what it is, it’s not their fault ». To put the cherry on the cake, when we arrive there was no parking inside the hotel so I parked in the street, they told us to come back later when some free spots would be available around midday. We asked the spa to call to ask if there was free spots, they replied that they didn’t know and we should come and see ourselves, refusing to take care of our car or luggages. By the way the parking spots are 20m from reception… well anyways I came out in my wardrobe and did it myself. Pretty disappointing for a beautiful hotel that has so much potential. Will not come back.

Our stay was amazing, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The Spa, restaurant and pools are amazing.

We spent 2 relaxing days at this fantastic hotel. We enjoyed great time at spa with family (pool, sauna, steam bath…), nice drinks at the bar and delicious dinner at the restaurant. Service was efficient and staff were very friendly. Obernai city centre is very closed and worth to explore

Fantastic hotel. The junior suite is charming and comfortable. The yonaguni spa is a dream come true: 2500 m2 of relaxation at its best. Had a full body massage from Clementine. She has magic hands! Do book a full day. It’s worth it and time fly

A EVITER ABSOLUMENT Nous avons réservé un weekend spa avec repas gastronomique, petit-déjeuner buffet, soins.....à près de € 800,-. Au lendemain de notre arrivée, testé positif au covid, je préfère quitter l'établissement plutôt que de risquer de contaminer clients et/ou personnel. Mon interlocutrice me certifie que nous pouvons reporter les prestations non effectuées (soins, massages, spa, petit-déjeuner.....) sans aucun problème. Après mon rétablissement je prends contact pour réserver une date pour bénéficier des prestations payées mais non effectuées en raison de ma contamination covid et là......Oh SURPRISE !!! on m'annonce que si je veux reprendre RDV pour les soins il faut que je les paye une nouvelle fois et que le petit-déjeuner est perdu 😡 QUELLE HONTE pour un établissement qui se veut de grand standing et qui avance sa politique d'annulation alors qu'il s'agit d'un cas de force majeure. Par ailleurs, si je n'avais pas fait état de mon test positif au covid j'aurais très bien pu poursuivre mon séjour sans me soucier des conséquences pour l'hotel et le spa au risque de répandre largement le virus. Potentiellement un bon nombre de personnes aurait été contaminé pouvant même aller jusqu'à un point tel que le complexe soit dans l'obligation de fermer momentanément. Les pertes financières auraient été tout autres que pour le simple report d'un petit-déjeuner et de soins d'ores et déjà PAYES !!! EXTREMENT DECEVANT !

We really enjoyed the SPA at the property. The Yonaguni Spa is worth the visit. Out junior suite was very nice and comfortable. the service overall was just ok but not excellent. A big thankyou to the bar tender. He has been lovely.

Cela faisait de long mois que nous voulions tester ce spa qui se veut le meilleur spa du monde mais pour nous les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur de l'excellence et donc du prix. Le lieu en lui même reste magnifique. Cependant, la première salle est en travaux, le plafond est "ouvert", première impression pas géniale. Le reste de l'équipement spa est chouette mais l'eau est un peu froide pour rester des heures... Pas de bain chaud à 37/40 degrés. Le plus gros bemol se situe pour moi au niveau du repas. Pour le prix nous attendions un diner au calme avec de bons plats. A la place nous avons trouvé un self cantine ou vous mangez littéralement avec les autres clients… Pour l'intimité on repassera. Les boissons sont extrêmement chères (13€ l'aperol). Les plats sont juste bon, rien d'extra-ordinaire. Aussi vous vous retrouvez pressé par les autres clients qui attendent debout a coté de la porte pour prendre votre place. Le fait de ne pas avoir à se changer est bien mais on à vite eu froid à rester dans notre peignoir mouillé pour manger. Il ni a pas de possibilité de boire un verre non plus dans le SPA avant ou après le repas, que de l'eau. Le diable se cache dans les détails et clairement ici, ils ne sont pas considérés. Dommage.

Nous avons passé une journée au spa, bel endroit, équipements impressionnants, l’architecte a dû penser aux belles photos Instagram avant d’imaginer son projet. Il y a un côté Darkroom, ambiance club libertin assez étrange, qu’on aime ou qu’on déteste mais plutôt novateur, surprenant en tout les cas. Malheureusement, les contraintes sont plutôt nombreuses, durée limitée, horaires de restauration, imposées, clientèle plutôt bruyante, espace extérieur assez petit. Le Spa est pourtant juste dans les standards des spa d’hôtel de la Forêt-Noire noire voisine le calme en moins le prix en plus. Le repas et le service du restaurant sont bons, mais l’endroit ressemble à une cantine de start-up parisienne. Les tarifs sont absolument exagéré, sans doute le pire rapport qualité prix que j’ai connu jusqu’à présent. Idéalement à offrir en bon cadeau entre collègues pour un départ à la retraite, le quel s’en contentera certainement.
