It was in a great location. Very walkable to botanical gardens, square, huge market, lots of close restaurant choices.
Staff were very nice and helpful.
Road in front could be a little noisy until around 9ish but quieted down after that.
Would definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful facilities and helpful staff. Would come here again in a heartbeat. Delicious breakfasts with new options every morning. And incredibly convenient to the city center.

Perfectly situated across from the market and one block away from the Zocalo. Each room is slightly different. Arrived very early. The hotel allowed us to check our bags and later check-in slightly ahead of our check-in time.Also allowed for a late check out. Front desk staff was always cheerful and helpful. The onsite tour agent (Carmen) was also very helpful in arranging cars, tours, and tickets for us. The complimentary breakfast was always quick and tasty.

You walk out the door and it’s “Oaxaca Times Square.” The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Don’t mind the little girl in the lobby riding her bike, because she’s the owner’s daughter and it goes with the charm and quirkiness of the hotel. You have the feeling you are visiting a family member’s home.

Five-night stay.
Three breakfast selections each day (that changed daily).
Ample water pressure.
Ample hot water.
BRING EAR PLUGS:
— Sometime constant fireworks explosions in Oaxaca….not just on holidays.
— Housekeeping staff arrives daily at 6:30. Because of the courtyard style structure, any noise they make can be heard in the main rooms of the hotel.

This was the perfect hotel for our short stay, so much so that we wanted to stay longer. Amazing breakfast options and the kindest staff. Very accommodating and helped us where needed. On a busy street at night due to it being centrally located, but that was actually a great thing about it. You hardly notice the traffic outside and can appreciate how close the hotel is to everything. Safe, tranquil, and beautiful facility - would stay again and highly recommend.
