I’ve stayed here once in a while for work since it was a Ramada Inn. It’s been better and definitely lots worse, but starting to look good again. Unfortunately, guests are already damaging their new upgrades. In the room I stayed in, there was a new laminate floor, it looked very nice, but someone had scraped about a two foot gouge in it. I don’t even know how; the heavy item was lifted in the room and then scraped along the floor?? The bed had sparkling white sheets, I guess any type of covering is out these days... The wall unit worked well, it did not make loud off/on noises and I could sleep. The room was very quiet aside from the occasional muscle car going down 323. They did keep some of the original parts...like the doors. They’ve been repainted without *****ping the old paint since the 70s and the build up doesn’t look that great. I guess that’s part of the insulation.
The pool area looked very nice, although I only saw it from my room, not close up. The worst parts are the sidewalks in front of the rooms and the north parking lot with crumbling road. There were plenty of bright white lights out there, though, but I still thought maybe my horrible old car might be broken into. It wasn’t, though. Some of the guest looked transient.
The price on ******* was ok, but I sure wouldn’t pay over $90 to stay here. The bathtub looked great. The bathroom tile had cracks here and there, it didn’t match the tub and the person who installed it wasn’t the greatest.
