In the early sixteenth century, Icarai was part of the territory of the Tupinamba Indian tribe. Today, it is an upscale neighborhood.
Matiz Niterói Design Hotel, shows the balance between comfort and design, whilst being cost-effective. This hotel displays decor with a tribal essence, inspired by the districts indigenous name, using natural fibers and wood.
The menus, created and prepared by our Executive Chef Esteban Mateu with an international background in upscale restaurants around the globe, follow the contemporary Brazilian line with local flavors.

quiet place and well connected, excellent neighborhood. Excellent breakfast and good restaurant. Courteous and professional staff, also excellent for those who work in the area. Comfortable bed and soft pillows.

A recepção foi espetacular, os quartos são muito bons e novos. O café da manhã de boa qualidade e sempre com reposição rápida. Fica perto dos pontos turísticos e uber a todo momento. Agradeço a todos os colaboradores do hotel, pois fizeram a estada muito melhor.

Cama muito confortável, ambiente, iluminação. Tive problema com o ar condicionado do quarto pois começou a pingar muito; mas nada demais. Só uma observação mesmo. Fui muito bem atendido pelos funcionários. Ótimos. Foi minha lua de mel. Passamos apenas 2 dias mas foi maravilhoso.

Recepção muito boa, quarto limpo e organizado, cama confortável, além de um mimo de páscoa. Acredito que deveria ter mais opções de produtos na geladeira. Ponto a melhorar de estrutura física : porta do banheiro muito próxima do vaso sanitário e fica sem espaço para abrir e fechar.

Muito bom. Me senti confortável. Como se estivesse em casa. Tranquilo, aconchegante e excelente atendimento. Já me hospedei outras vezes no mesmo hotel e sempre me senti muito bem. Sempre me hospedei a trabalho, mas espero ainda poder trazer minha família para passear em Niterói e desfrutar do hotel.

Hotel muito limpo, café da manhã muito bom e quarto bastante confortável, cama king banheiro tudo limpinho. Localização muito boa, na quadra da praia de Icaraí. Perto das melhores atrações da cidade. Recepção muito educada hotel mais do que recomendado em Niterói!!
