Premier Inn Isle Of Wight (Newport)

Staff at the Premier Inn very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We had meals and drinks at the adjacent Beefeater restaurant which was clean and well maintained. Food very good and good selection of drinks. Bailey the barman was outstanding, did his job exceptionally well, and so did Sharon in the restaurant area.

We had three days here after a poor stay in the one in Oxford. What a difference. The reception staff always smiling and always acknowledging you when coming and going. Lots of free parking. The rooms were spotless and the staff could not do enough for you. The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of Newport town centre, where there are lots of restaurants and places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would have no hesitation in returning soon.

Excellent location, practical for everything, to travel to get to the shops restaurants. Clean, and friendly staff. Didn't give 5 because, we stayed in family room but 4th bed was really uncomfortable... And the room was really too warm although there was a fan, this was March! ... The bathroom fan didn't really work either. But all good , maybe needs a bit of upgrading given the rise in temperatures.

We met some friends for a meal at Beefeater adjacent to the hotel and decided to stay the night. What a comfortable night it was. Beautiful river view room, spotlessly clean, so quiet with a dream bed. Charlotte the receptionist, really knows how to treat and welcome guests, she was amazing. We only live locally but the cost of cabs on the IOW are ridiculous so to stay here was perfect and a quick stagger from the Beafeater. Worth every penny

Hotel is in a good location and there is plenty of parking. Room was basic but expected. The beds werrle unfortunately uncomfortable and my sons bed squeaked every time he moved which meant we all didn't sleep well. Quality of bedding was poor and the room was a bit dirty and there were flies inside the window. Breakfast was nearby but a little dissapointed in the quality of the cooked food. Lots of choice though.

Got my booking wrong for breakfast, had to wait an hour before could eat (not ideal after night shift). WiFi difficult to connect to and kept glitching. Rooms not cleaned and had to request again. Rooms not dusted as cobwebs present. Not value for money!

All you need for a good stay and having the Beefeater next door was a bonus. Room was clean and everything we needed was in it, including a fan, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, good sized TV that we were able to connect our Firestick to

Spent 3 nights here whilst attending a family Funeral. Room Tidy bed very comfortable. 1 minor criticism TV Volume very low - especially if you are Hard of hearing. Chair not exactly the most comfortable. The ability to open the window is a definite plus in our book as we like the freash air.

The Premier Inn was clean and well laid out. The restaurant was very good with a great selection of fresh food. Most of the staff were very curious and helpful with cheery greetings. Now my “Beware “ title. When you book in make sure you record the fact that, if you’re using the car park, you record that you have registered your car, even filming it. We booked in, entered our vehicle registration and told by reception that all was okay. Next morning, parking ticket. Reception basically said it was their problem and for us to sort it ourselves but did advise us to contact the company who Premier use to appeal the ticket. It took a week to get the ticket cancelled. This situation could be made hassle free if reception staff could either double check that the procedure was correctly completed or a receipt given.
