We booked in and my son and daughter were upgraded as they had just finished their exams. We had the dog and our room was good in the way the door opened into large green area and you could sit outside. It was busy in the eve as there was a prom on and another function and the service was slow in the restaurant. I spoke to the supervisor at reception and explained the issues we had and she could not be more helpful - we were offered drinks and lunch as a sorry which was a great gesture. We would definitely return.

The hotel is really nice but the only problem was no lift as we had a few suitcase . No bell service and we had to carry our heavy luggages up one floor. Quite a problem for old people. Breakfast was nice but pricey, weather was good and so having breakfast outdoors is a pleasure.

The front desk staff were fantastic, check in was floor less. Only problem I had was no heat in my room , when down front desk they couldn’t have been more helpful, it only took about 5-10 minutes to sort. Cannot fault any of the staff. I would stay again happily and recommend it.

Upon arrival it was easy to park. The desk clerk that checked us in was friendly but did not give us good information about the use of the leisure facilities despite us asking about them. The room was nice but I found the bed uncomfortable, waking up several times though the night.
The pool was small and very busy. The restaurant felt a bit like a work cafeteria but the burger I ordered was really tasty. Someone in my party had the schnitzel which was also well cooked and was very enjoyable.
Breakfast would have been improved by serving real tea and coffee rather than from a DIY machine. The decaffeinated latte was really unpleasant. The range of food on offer was good and my child found plenty he enjoyed.
All in all I felt the hotel food and beverages were overpriced for the quality. I thought the room was value for money.

Staff helpful
Hotel very tired, not clean, old rooms, lots of dust around the edges in room, pool area and changing rooms were disgusting, hair all over floor not kept clean.
Buffet Breakfast was fine. Nothing special

When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist did an excellent job of a bad situation. Our Superior King room that was picked to accommodate our family of 4 had no hot water and the only option was 2 adjoining rooms. However, these were dated, with marked linen and no longer in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Which was a shame, so the sales pitch of "2 rooms at no additional cost" aggrieved me a little.
Apart from that the rest of the hotel was very good. Excellent breakfast and dining facilities and my children enjoyed the pool.

I stayed on a Sunday evening, the reception team were friendly and helpful.
I had a very comfortable stay and slept well, the bed and temperature of the room were just right.
A good place and one to revisit if I am in the area again.
Only 4 stars because dusters were left in my room sfter a clean and there was no remote for the TV. I know these would have been sorted if I bothered so not a huge issue and definitely do not be put off.
