Even though I paid in advance on this site, Hotel Indigo charged my credit card a second time for that night anyway. They said they needed a CC for a $50 hold for incidentals of which I got none, and instead they made an unauthorized charge for $133. Then they took nearly 20 days to refund the charge, even though I called 6 times during that span and was repeatedly assured I’d be refunded. After their incompetence got tiresome I offered to just stay there another night, which seemed reasonable to me, but they laughed and said that’s impossible and against their policy. I mentioned that making unauthorized and unwarranted charges on a customers credit care is also certainly against policy, but they just didn’t care. It took me involving Trip.com to finally get a refund, which they put on the wrong card and I still have yet to receive, even though they assure me it’s there. Then when I went to talk to them about it and asked to leave my suitcase there for a couple hours as I went to dine with friends, they told me no, that only registered guests could leave luggage there. I was surprised as that no-cost nice thing to do would have prevented me from leaving bad reviews all over the Internet, but as I learned, they really don’t care at this location. Maybe someday I’ll get my $133 back but I will sleep on the subway before I ever stay here again
