The room was tiny and the bed sheets and pillows smelled like dirty hair. They could use somw bleach. I asked the front desk for an extra blanket but never received it.

Check in was quick. We were on the first floor and it was so loud at night -- the lobby worker had friends visiting whose voices echoed in the lobby until midnight. In the morning, the beeping of the waffle maker in the breakfast area was loud, even from the tin with the door closed. There were hairs on the bathroom and bed that were clearly not ours as they were not our hair type. The bathroom was so cramped that you cannot open the door fully because it hits the toilet. There was noise very loud in our room from what I think was hotel workers moving things. However, the price was low, the location was great, and it didn't feel unsafe. You get what you pay for, and it fulfilled our basic needs for a one night stay in the city.

We couldn’t get wash clothes they said they had none no remote for the tv took three tries to find one that would work tried to book for oct said they couldn’t book that far ahead when we went to tell them about the tv said why didn’t you tell us when you came for the washcloths because we hadn’t tried the tv yet not he usual service we get from there as we always stay there before a cruise in New York

When you arrived at the breakfast, some times at 9h30, because we have a baby, some itens was unavailable. And the reception was in remodeling, if lack of breakfast table.

Perfect location to stay if you wanna roam around manhattan. Most places are walkable. Room service is amazing, didn’t expect to get a good room for a reasonable price.

The hotel was doing renovations but not just any renovations. They were in the main lobby. All workers wore masks because of the toxic fumes from the glue and paint they were using, the same lobby that they served breakfast in. Building materials and old things like flooring were scattered in the front entrance, blocking the handicap accessible ramp multiple times. I was very unhappy that they had guest there while doing such construction. It seems like it would have been safer to close for a few days and do the work. If I could I’d try and get a full refund.
