Booked for my first trip to NYC - quick 48 hour trip. Reviews seemed pretty good. Pros: -Awesome location by multiple 23rd St Subway stations -Decent amount of food, ATM & bars around -Walkable to Empire State & Times Square + more -Complimentary breakfast was pretty good -DirectTV had lots of channel options -allowed us late checkout due to flight delay Cons: -Booked a Queen room, it HAD to have been a full/double bed. So small and uncomfortable. Slept terribly, partner felt the same way -Small room in general -No microwave -sink didn’t drain properly -not enough towels provided -only 1 elevator working. Very inconvenient -getting down to the ice machine was a hassle -needs remodel. Bathroom old and while the room was technically clean, it needed a real deep clean -no city noise from our room but the doors constantly being closed from the hall was extremely loud. Woken up on our last morning at 8am to slamming doors. Overall, it could be okay for a 1 night quick stay. We personally wouldn’t return because of how terrible the bed and size was. If location is the most important thing to you and you’re okay with the cons, it’s doable for a short trip.

Only two elevators for a 20 story plus hotel. One of the elevators was out of service, and occupancy was full. The average wating time for the only elevator was almost 10 minutes. Today I checked out and hat to use the stairs, with my luggage. My room was in the 18th floor. I wonder what would happen in the case of a medical emergency.

I really liked this place because it is centrally located without being in the middle of times Square. Easy access to 3 lines of the subway if you walk only a bit. The room was small but in NY it was OK. We were 4 with 2 kids, everyone had enough space to relax on the bed but not enough to unpack the luggage (must so a little tetris). I find 70$ of valet parking pretty wild but near that location, it was all the same, some hotesl are even higher... I chopped one star because they seem to only have 1 elevator working sometimes (on the 2), the corridors are tiny and we waited sometimes 5 min for the elevator. Other than that, the breakfast was sometimes empty pretty fast and the seating area too in rush times... they refill it but with not much each time so there is always something missing. Nonetheless the kids could have the breakfast so thats the important thing

Place is located near a subway station that can take you to uptown or downtown. Room was good and the breakfast included is a plus.
