Me and Harlem go way back. Aloft Harlem used to be my go to hotel before I started staying more on the lower east side. In fact, a Marriott employee who used to work at Aloft directed me to this brand new, just opened hotel. I was excited to return to uptown and stay in this spot! I wanted to love this hotel. I don’t like giving lackluster reviews and feeling like a Karen. But over two nights, the transgressions just piled up. I’m a Marriott ambassador who stays in hotels about 240 nights a year. I never bring up my status. This might be the first time I actually uttered in frustration, “it’s September and I’ve already spent 27,000 dollars at these hotels, why is this so hard?” Upon checkin, it took almost an hour. This is even more frustrating because my first night was business and my company always sends a spending authorization. Two days in a row I checked with the hotel to see if they had received the authorization. They lost the first one. They mismanaged the second one. I always call or chat ahead to ensure a smooth checkin. It was still a mess when I arrived. The room was a “Central Park view.” I should have known better; I don’t know why I believed this title. I know New York geography better than that. I was looking into a building. Central Park facing or in the direction of Central Park shouldn’t be called central park view. I had changed from the city view to the Central Park view before arrival and I guess I’m glad I did because while they were trying to figure out my reservation they mentioned they had oversold the city view rooms. I will say the black out shades do a great job. The bed was fine. Sheets were a little co****. This hotel costs close to what a Moxy costs, so their sheets should be comparably smooth and comfortable. The bathroom was an absolute joke. Maybe not all the rooms are like mine, but mine may as well not have had a door. As you can see in my photos, the door is for “art.” There is a huge gap where you can see everything! Like probably 12 inches or greater of a gap! Who designed this and thought it was a great idea?! Glad I was alone. The air unit is SUPER loud. Doesn’t bother me as much since we usually have a fan on at home, but it was so loud that when it came on, I had to turn the TV up. It will likely bother some people. And you can hear everything through the walls. Oh, and the toilet clogged twice. And one of the days, the hot water was off all day for repairs, though that’s out of anyone’s control. It’s just giving context to a very un-relaxing stay. Back to the front desk mess—I later noted a destination fee on my bill (I had two separate bills because one night was business and one was personal). I don’t mind destination fees—I’ve had them at many Marriott properties. But I was never informed of this one. I even asked at the restaurant, and they had no idea. I finally went to the desk and asked and they explained I should have been given vouchers for each ni

Eu dei muita sorte porque compartilhei com uma pessoa maravilhosa. Quando cheguei lá não tinha ninguém na recepção, mas logo chegou a pessoa para me atender e realizar o check in. Eles tem convidados e moradores fixos. Algumas portas não trancam. Incluindo banheiro e quarto. A geladeira tem um cheiro horrível. Quando a pessoa precisa de toalha, eles pedem 5 dólares de caução, que devolvem no ato da devolução da toalha. Alguns quartos são extremamente quentes. Mas para mim, foi uma experiência incrível, a localização é maravilhosa, perto de farmácia, mercados, estação de metrô, starbucks, tudo. Se você está procurando algo mais confortável, com uma boa estrutura, com um pouco mais de recursos, melhor procurar outro lugar. Mas se você, assim como eu estiver procurando apenas um lugar para deixar suas malas, tomar banho e dormir, esse pode ser o lugar perfeito.

ห้องแรกก็ไร้ประโยชน์ เฟลตแย้ม และตู้เย็นก็ใช้งานไม่ถูกต้อง ห้องที่สองก็เหมือน FLATHY !!!! ไม่ให้โอกาสเปลี่ยนห้องอีก ได้รับการสัญญาว่าแม่บ้านจะมาแก้ไขปัญหา มันไม่เคยเกิดขึ้น! ทุกครั้งที่กลับมาจากทํางาน พบว่าห้องพักมีปัญหาเดียวกัน ฟร้อนท์ก็ไม่มีการช่วยเหลือ คืนสุดท้ายที่เข้าพัก พนักงาน Front Desk บอกชั้นล่างให้มาเอาผ้าปูที่นอนสะอาดมาปูบนเตียงได้ ผ้าปูที่นอนที่อยู่บนเตียงมีคราบน้ําในร่างกายและเต็มไปด้วยรู เบาะเตียงมีคราบสีแดงขนาดใหญ่ มีแมลงตายอยู่ใต้หมอน ระเบียงมีมูลนกปกคลุมด้วย ห้องน้ําไม่มีความร้อน เก้าอี้อะโลลสเตอร์มีคราบสกปรกน่าเกลียดบางอันดูเหมือนมาจากกิจกรรมทางเพศ ฝาครอบโคมไฟบนโต๊ะเตียงมีคราบสกปรกมาก ถ่ายรูปทุกอย่าง!!!!! กับปัญหาสําคัญทั้งหมดนี้เจ้าของส่งคําถึง Front Desk Mgr เทเลอร์ให้ฉันคืนเงิน15%ในการเข้าพัก! 15% เท่ากับการคายหน้า! เสียดายที่ฉันยังไม่ได้ตรวจสอบรีวิวของโรงแรมก่อนจอง กว่าปีที่ผ่านมา ผมได้เข้าพักที่ตัวเลือกโรงแรมหลายแห่งและมีปัญหาเพียงครั้งเดียวกับสภาพห้องของผมและทางผู้จัดการได้คืนเงินให้ผมทันทีสําหรับประสบการณ์ที่เลวร้ายมาก โรงแรมนี้ใน Edgewater ไม่สามารถยอมรับได้โดยสิ้นเชิง! เห็นมีรีวิวที่ดีและแม้กระทั่งคึกคักจากแขกหลายคนเลยเห็นได้ชัดว่ามีความไม่สอดคล้องกันมากในคุณภาพของแม่บ้านและพนักงาน อาหารเช้าที่เสนอก็ไร้ค่า!!!! ต่อรองกับขนมปังปิ้งชั้นใต้ดินที่เหม็นอับ ไม่มีข้าวโอ๊ตที่เตรียมไว้ให้ ให้แพ็คเก็ตที่คิดว่าแขกน่าจะมีไมโครเวฟ กล้วยสีน้ําตาลสุกเกิน ไม่ได้แม้แต่กาแฟ decaf แก้วเดียวเพราะกาน้ําร้อนเสีย Coomon sense คงบอกว่าใช้เครื่องปั้นดินเผาอีกอันเพื่ออนุญาตให้แขกดื่มกาแฟได้โอกาสเดียวกันกับกาแฟ! ต้องออกไปซื้อรายการอาหารเช้า! establishment ระดับโลว์สุดๆ พนักงานโดยส่วนใหญ่มีการบริการของพนักงานชั้นล่างๆ ประหยัดความเครียดและความไม่สบายใจโดยการจองที่อื่น มีฮิลตันอยู่ใก้ลๆ คงคิดว่าที่พักที่ดีกว่านี้สามารถหาที่นั่นได้ ขอให้ทุกท่านได้รับความสะดวกสบายและมีความสุขในการเดินทาง!

ห้องพักเหมือนในรูปในแอป ไม่แคบจนเกินไป และกว้างขวาง สะดวกสบาย มีระเบียง สถานีรถไฟใต้ดินต้องเดินประมาณ 10 นาที แต่ผมจ่ายไปจํานวนรวมอาหารเช้า แต่พอเช็คอินบอกว่าอาหารเช้าได้แค่กาแฟ ชา ที่มีโรคระบาดหรอ อาหารเช้าไม่ถึงคนละ 84 เหรียญ สามคืน คนละ 14 เหรียญ ควรเขียนตอนจองว่ามีแค่กาแฟ ทางโรงแรมไม่ตอบและโชคดีที่ได้รับรางวัล 1 รางวัลสําหรับการขอโทษ

I booked at Nap York Central park in June 2022 for September/October 2022. I chose the discounted flexible rate, as I didn’t see having to cancel or move my dates at all - my flight was paid for. Earlier this month my father suffered a stroke, was diagnosed with cancer, and was told he was in need of an operation on his heart. His quality of living went from active and healthy to in need of 24/7 care overnight. I contacted this property to see if even though the flexible option was non-refundable if there might be some leniency with this as I don’t see being able to travel in the near future, even at a partial refund (mostly for the $500 I already paid to be used for medical bills/needs). You cannot actually call or speak to anyone - they do not have phones. You can only communicate through a chat service. They don’t provide any details as to who you are talking to and my questions as to whether there is a management company I might reach out to were unanswered, and then I was just told ‘we don’t have phones’. After explaining my situation, they let me know they would not refund anything but would move the dates. According to my original booking, I would have six months to reschedule. Speaking to someone through the chat service, I was only given four months to reschedule and many dates blocked out and unavailable to me due to holidays. I pointed out that it was less time than my original booking stated and that went unaddressed, the person let me know that ‘my situation’ (my father possibly terminally ill) ‘was not their responsibility’ and they wouldn’t refund my payment or add any dates (which really would have just been giving me what I should have anyway, not exactly doing me any extra favors) and again - all questions as to whether there is an actual number or company to contact with questions was not provided. While I understand my original request for a refund was outside of the original terms, they don’t even offer the terms that are paid for and clearly stated. I’ve also worked at hotels and lodges in the past to know that they often make allowances for nonrefundable stays in cases of extreme circumstances. Booking.com reached out to try to negotiate and the only response they received was ‘no refund’. I’ve also had travel plans in the past change slightly and have been out money and have not asked for special accommodations or refunds from locations, but with the stress of my father’s health and rising costs, and so suddenly, I was looking for some empathy here. United Airlines is notorious for delayed customer service or non-negotiable refunds and I was able to explain my situation and received a full refund immediately. After some of the language used by whoever manages their chat service, I wouldn’t stay at this location at this point. I've attached some of the reviews on google, as well as management's insane responses (including taunting people about calling the police, or pointing out they don't speak English).
