The hotel is located in the heart of the French Quarters, close to the riverfront and the French Market. It has a pleasant inner courtyard with a pool and a fountain. My room was spacious and clean with all the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this category. The staff manning the front desk - Macy, Elaine, Clayton and Derek - were always courteous and helpful. There were always bottles of drinking water near the entrance for guests to use. The room rates were reasonable.

Beautiful property very close to everything without the noise of Bourbon Street. Kind desk personnel and free water. Courtyard was lovely but due to the freak cold snap we weren't able to sit and enjoy it much. Bathrooms have been newly renovated and the bed was very comfortable.
Due to the cold there was some condensation on the windows leading to some dripping water and you could hear people walking around late at night but it was minimal.
Overall, the stay was lovely and I will definitely be coming back the next time I come to the city.

Our first stay under the new management. It was a very enjoyable stay and our downstairs room on Chartres was pretty quiet. We will recommend it to our friends.

Perfect location, Hotel has charm. My room shared a door with the neighboring guests so I was able to hear everything, I mean everything.

First of all we got a two star room for the price of a 5 star.
Very cold night and heater did not work. Door going out to shared balcony did not lock. Finally this is a very noisy hotel. If you want to pay 5 star price….Book a 5 star hotel

The Chateau was amazing. The location is one block away from Cafe Du Monde and two blocks from Bourbon Street. So perfectly clean. We loved every moment. I’ve stayed at many of New Orleans finest hotels and nothing had ever topped this one. I won’t try another.

The Chateau Hotel is conveniently located in the French Quarter, within walking distance of the nightlife of Bourbon Street and daily tourist attractions by the river/Decatur Street/Jackson Square. It was only a block from a french bakery (Croissant D'or) where we had breakfast every day. The staff were friendly and made restaurant recommendations & booked tickets for us for a swamp tour and steamboat river cruise. The rooms were simple, clean, and comfortable.

We loved the location, the bed and pillows. The lady at the front was always so nice and caring. We felt safe the whole time and it was very quiet. All the best things that the French quarter offers are only few minutes walk away, perfect location!! Highly recommend it.
