I would advise against booking this hotel for international friends: Terrible attitude and expensive charges: On March 13, upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed that early check-in would cost at least $58, not even counting the cents! Of all the hotels I've stayed in, this was the most expensive. The most appalling thing was that although our check-in time was clearly stated as 4 PM on our reservation, the front desk lady, who was extremely rude, told us we couldn't check in at 4 PM because we didn't pay in advance. When I argued that it wasn't my fault and that she couldn't just make us wait, she yelled at me, claiming that nobody said it was my fault but we still couldn't check in, then made us wait for an entire hour! A stay here ruins the experience for anyone; I don’t know how such unprofessionalism gets one to the front desk. The worst part is that there’s no way to file a complaint; the hotel management is indifferent, and there’s no complaint channel on their website. Our rights were not protected at all! Had it not been for my friend and me, I would have canceled and changed hotels immediately (and now, having been made to wait until 5 PM, I wonder if they'd also prevent me from checking out). Consider carefully whether you want to book this hotel. Inflexible processes: We booked four nights, but due to changes in our itinerary, we wanted to cancel the last night. The hotel refused, which made us wonder why we didn’t just book one night at a time instead of all four nights together. This aspect is particularly incomprehensible, showing the hotel's lack of flexibility. Cleanliness: On the first day, we left a tip for the cleaning staff, only to return and find our room was not cleaned. When asked, the front desk (the same woman) said we needed to book cleaning services in advance, which she failed to mention initially. Such unprofessionalism makes one question how she ended up at the front desk. My friend and I decided not to leave tips anymore, preferring to request garbage bags and handle our tra

Overall was satisfactory. The location was close to where we wanted to be. We chose this location as we thought it would be quieter but apparently there was a frat party in town so a little hard to escape the noise.

Within walking distance of the French Quarter, but far enough away that there was no party noise to keep us awake. I’m not sure I would have felt totally safe walking back to the hotel if I would have been alone, but I had my husband with me. There was a specific taxi company that brought us to and from the hotel for a flat rate of $36 each way, and we found that price to be cheaper than Uber. Hotel was very close to RTA bus and streetcar pick up locations. French Quarter tip: Don’t make eye contact with the young boys drumming on buckets unless you want one of them to come after you and ask for a tip, and when you try to walk away, they shove you and call you a slur (it happened to us our last night, but all other evenings were great). We also suggest checking out Frenchmen Street in the evening-much different vibe than Bourbon Street.

We checked in at 6:30pm with a rental car. The hotel has Valet parking only @ $50 per night. The parking garage is a few blocks away. When the valet parked our rental car he accidentally put the keys in his pocket and went home with the keys that might The keys were not returned until 3pm the next day. Fortunately we were staying 2 nights. Although this had the potential to really destroy a vacation I will say the hotel Manager Jonathan and the parking supervisor Harold bent over backwards to make me happy. It did all work out but I will give the hotel and the valet company a good review for top notch customer service. I travel often so things do sometimes do happen. What matters is how bad situations are handled when they do.

This hotel was a short walking distance from all of the attractions of the city. I thought the hotel room was spacious and I enjoyed the kitchenette. The staff are friendly and very helpful. When I checked out, I enjoyed their baggage holding services so I could explore the city one last time without carrying all of my baggage around.

Nasty property… Will never stay there again. Room was never cleaned in three days. Dirty lobby, dirty elevators.

Over all thia was a nice property. It was walking distance from Bourbon St and also the Superdome. Property under some construction but was disruptive at all. Staff and Valet were very friendly and helpful.

Valets smelled like **** and made our car smell like it. TVs in room did not work, glitchy cable. Limited hot water for shower.
