We stayed 7 nights at Sol Nessebar Palace, as a family with 2 kids, 14 and 7. The overall experience was good, although we encountared also an unpleasant situation which i will detail below. Room: Spacious and clean. It is not a modern set up, but the furniture is in good condition. Being clean and spacious was ok for us. Bathroom: Spacious and enough for our needs. Property: 3 hotels on the property, this being the 5 stars one, the other 2 are 4 stars. Each have an external main pool. The pool at the Palace was bigger, clean, with nice sun beds. A lot of big trees around, providing a nice natural shadow. The gardens are well maintained. Aquapark and kids pool: Few good water slides for all ages. Kids pool is also nice. Beach: For Palace guests, there is a separate beach with nice sun beds, fine sand and umbrellas. I liked the vibe of this beach, as it had a wilde feeling, which was cool. We went there every day in the afrernoons. Restaurant: Main restaurant-simple and clean. Food: the food was good, they tried to mix adding every day different type of fish, turkey, pork, beef, chicken, even lamb one day. Many salads, cheese and other apperitives. Desserts: variety of cakes, ice cream, mix of seasonal fruits. Drinks: tap soda, tap wine, water. Not our type of drinks, so we avoided them. Coffee: ok, not great. Nescaffe coffee has sugar added and can be felt by someone not using sugar in their coffee. It did the job though. :) Breakfast: variety of breakfast foods, very good actually: eggs, scrumbled eggs, variety of cheese and vegetables, fruits, pancakes, cereals, etc. Always could find something good. Besides the main restaurant, food was served during the day in other areas as well: pizza, pretzels, paella, etc. Italian restaurant: we wanred to celebrate our daughter birthday but in that day was not available, so we booked for another day. Food was ok, but not much different then the one from main restaurant. This experience can be improved. :) the negative experience: We had an unpleasant interaction in one of the days with the security guy from the parking, who asked me to move the car from one of the 2 spots available, where was no reservation sign. He was mean, rude, intimidating, and i find that behaviour not acceptable in a 5 stars hotel. From my own conclusions, he was tipped by other guests to reserve parking places for them(seen by us in that morning) I adressed this to the hotel, who in my opinion did not handle the situation great from the begining. Only next day, when i went in the quest relations office, i met Umit, who had a kind attitude and offered me a solution to feel better about the entire incident. This was appreciated. Overall, we had a good stay at this resort, which has as main atributes, great location with trees and nice gardens, nice, small and a bit wilde(in a good way) little beach with fine sand, water slides, good food and clean facilities. As the situation above is probably isolated, this resort can be a good
