Potidea Palace Hotel

Have just returned from a 10 day stay we were a party of 4 as 2 couples The hotel itself is on a main road with a lot of graffiti on the roadside leading to it so we did wonder where we were going, however once inside the hotel is really nice and I guess a beach resort is the best way to describe it . We had booked Deluxe Garden view rooms however in all honesty we had no view at all from our rooms except for a hedge and tree which were right up against the balcony making it dark and oppressive, there was never any real sun or warmth on it so we didn’t feel able to sit out there at all … beyond the hedge was literally the hotels service road so quite noisy in the mornings and often the smell of diesel fumes etc so this wasn’t the garden view we were expecting! On reflection we should have probably asked for different rooms but after we unpacked really couldn’t face a move, we did feel slightly irritated as a couple who checked in with us complained they didn’t want the economy room road view they booked so the hotel upgraded them at no cost to the same type of room as ours with a far better view The food is some of the best we have ever experienced in AI hotels, lots of variety, generally hot food was hot and salads fantastic … Desserts get rather repetitive and very much same every day and no provision of any sugar free alternatives that we have had in many other AI As a new diabetic the only drinks available to me were sparkling water or Diet Coke ( and no Diet Coke available in the restaurants drink machines) Many hotels have now changed to offering Fanta and Sprite sugar free drinks … we discussed this with the manager and he very kindly got in for me Sprite Zero both at the bars and in our room mini bar which opened up so many more options for me!! Unfortunately it did take 5 days to actually get it but we were offered a voucher for a dinner to be taken in the Al la Carte restaurant which was much appreciated and the food excellent All the staff are friendly and helpful especially Sofia and Christina at the Pool Bar The animation team work really hard to keep you entertained etc The light show at the neighbouring sister hotel Pomegranate is not to be missed you can either walk along or the helpful concierge will take you in the golf carts There was no problem getting sun beds either by the pool or on the beach. The beach sun beds are rather close together and could be better if a little more space between them They market this hotel as a beautiful Sandy beach … it has sand but an awful lot of pebbles and stones too and this made getting into the sea not as easy as we hoped. The biggest drawback of this hotel for us is it’s location, there is no local bus service and no where to really walk to of any real interest from the hotel! We do like to be somewhere we can explore and look at local crafts or souvenirs We got a taxi to the nearby town of Neo Moudania which was very nice on market day to wander about but just not enough

We stayed for a week as a family. The hotel is really beautiful and clean. The food good quality. As all the comments say, the animation team is fantastic! Demitra, Enzo, Maria, Waidas, Harry and Ovi thank you for everything! We will definitely return!

Hotel was perfect looks a though it was recently refurbished as looks very new and clean. The hotel is well maintained the staff are very friendly the beach is very nice you can still get a sun bed at 10:00 as there a not many German's. The only point to criticize is the food and entertainment. They do not really cater for non pork eating guests the selection seems to be more pork orientated. The beef or chicken have minimal choice as most items have some form of pork either inside or wrapped around it. Come 23:00 the all inclusive ends and so does the night pretty much as everything up to 01:00 is then at cost. Entertainment was very basic on the first night it was even canceled we ended up with Bingo. The children's animation team were very good our kids loved every minute with them. Unfortunately as we are a travelled family maybe we are spoilt this is one I wouldn't return to purely due to the food.

BEST HOTEL EVER! all bartenders are amazing. especially 2 specific ones they are so kind, they make the BEST cocktails, mocktails etc. they are also funny. every night, there are events like karaoke, bingo, variety shows etc. in my opinion, the karaoke was the best. they also have programs like miniclub [amazing for kids] and patheos activities. you can win diplomas for doing activities [i got 2 for ping pong/table tennis and a game where theres a bunch of cups with water and you throw balls inside. the pool is absoluetly amazimg and the tennis/basketball court is in amazing condition. the personnel is very kindthe sea looks amazing at sunset. you can also see mt. olympus from the beach, best to see at sunset.if you go to level -1, you will find an amazing spa. the view is also amazing. overall, you'll have amazing memories and everything is good.

Incredibly wonderful hotel! Friendly and caring staff, constant and high-quality cleaning of rooms, bar and kitchen at the highest level, seafood was on the table every day, excellent animation program, especially for children. The entire territory is spacious and well thought out, the beach is clean and the sunbeds are comfortable. I want to come back again.

We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of May this year and we liked it so much that we came back again the third week of May. We had a great time, the hygiene is on a very high level, the food is delicious and with great variety, there is a great selection of fish and vegetarian meals. The ultra all inclusive package is great, especially for families with children as there are juices, kids cocktails, ice cream during the day which is really loved by the kids. The most special place in the hotel is the Mini Club and the wonderful activities and games organized wholeheartedly by Haris, Dimitra, Enzo, Ovidius and Maria. Our son was so happy and pleased during both our stays and had a truly wonderful time thanks to the Mini Club team. The whole team deserves a huge bonus for their efforts and dedication to the kids. Great work really we are so grateful to you all! We also want to send our warmest regards to the staff at both bars as they were all great and friendly to us and to the children, great job everybody. Overall we had a really nice and relaxing holiday and recommend the hotel to everyone. We will be definitely coming back :)

We absolutely loved our stay here! The all inclusive is excellent with a huge range of choice. I was very impressed with the food choices and quality, there was something different to choose from every night. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. It was so nice to have a hotel right on the beach too, and the drink choices were excellent too with lots of champagne cocktails included. It was very good value for money. It is also handy as there is a mini market right next door with free wine tasting which we really enjoyed. There are also free tennis courts and table tennis, and a spa included. It was brilliant having all these added extras. Rooms were very clean and the service was brilliant, you can tell the staff keep it very well kept. The entertainment in the evenings was very good too. We will definitely be returning! We loved it!

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! Stunning views, delicious food and drinks ensured a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff's attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set this hotel apart. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed for 7 nights at the resort. Very clean , great selection of food at every sitting breakfast, lunch and dinner, staff very friendly and attentive. Beach kept clean and loads of sunbeds. Pool area the same clean and loads of sunbeds. We had a really enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend it. All the facilities you would need. Athos was a taxi ride away 35 euros a very beautiful traditional Greek village well worth a visit. If you want to stay on a resort just to relax this will do the job.
