Potidea Palace Hotel

Have just returned from a 10 day stay we were a party of 4 as 2 couples The hotel itself is on a main road with a lot of graffiti on the roadside leading to it so we did wonder where we were going, however once inside the hotel is really nice and I guess a beach resort is the best way to describe it . We had booked Deluxe Garden view rooms however in all honesty we had no view at all from our rooms except for a hedge and tree which were right up against the balcony making it dark and oppressive, there was never any real sun or warmth on it so we didn’t feel able to sit out there at all … beyond the hedge was literally the hotels service road so quite noisy in the mornings and often the smell of diesel fumes etc so this wasn’t the garden view we were expecting! On reflection we should have probably asked for different rooms but after we unpacked really couldn’t face a move, we did feel slightly irritated as a couple who checked in with us complained they didn’t want the economy room road view they booked so the hotel upgraded them at no cost to the same type of room as ours with a far better view The food is some of the best we have ever experienced in AI hotels, lots of variety, generally hot food was hot and salads fantastic … Desserts get rather repetitive and very much same every day and no provision of any sugar free alternatives that we have had in many other AI As a new diabetic the only drinks available to me were sparkling water or Diet Coke ( and no Diet Coke available in the restaurants drink machines) Many hotels have now changed to offering Fanta and Sprite sugar free drinks … we discussed this with the manager and he very kindly got in for me Sprite Zero both at the bars and in our room mini bar which opened up so many more options for me!! Unfortunately it did take 5 days to actually get it but we were offered a voucher for a dinner to be taken in the Al la Carte restaurant which was much appreciated and the food excellent All the staff are friendly and helpful especially Sofia and Christina at the Pool Bar The animation team work really hard to keep you entertained etc The light show at the neighbouring sister hotel Pomegranate is not to be missed you can either walk along or the helpful concierge will take you in the golf carts There was no problem getting sun beds either by the pool or on the beach. The beach sun beds are rather close together and could be better if a little more space between them They market this hotel as a beautiful Sandy beach … it has sand but an awful lot of pebbles and stones too and this made getting into the sea not as easy as we hoped. The biggest drawback of this hotel for us is it’s location, there is no local bus service and no where to really walk to of any real interest from the hotel! We do like to be somewhere we can explore and look at local crafts or souvenirs We got a taxi to the nearby town of Neo Moudania which was very nice on market day to wander about but just not enough

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! Stunning views, delicious food and drinks ensured a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff's attention to detail and commi**ent to guest satisfaction truly set this hotel apart. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We stayed for 7 nights at the resort. Very clean , great selection of food at every sitting breakfast, lunch and dinner, staff very friendly and attentive. Beach kept clean and loads of sunbeds. Pool area the same clean and loads of sunbeds. We had a really enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend it. All the facilities you would need. Athos was a taxi ride away 35 euros a very beautiful traditional Greek village well worth a visit. If you want to stay on a resort just to relax this will do the job.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The rooms were immaculate, the food was divine, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. Special shoutout to Dimitria, Maria, and Ovidjus for their outstanding animation skills, making our evenings lively and enjoyable!

This hotel is really great for any kind of visit to be honest. Food in hotel was really great, one of the best I’ve ever ate! I can’t tell anything bad in case of bars, gym and SPA, level of the hotel is very high. Animation team also is incredible, for special mention deserves Maria, Dimitria and Ovi Dijus for their work and for activities they planed :) My holidays was great and I hope that wasn’t last time when I saw hotel and crew ;))

Very good experience,nice hotel, very pleasant staff, food also great and animation team was great. Very good and kind with children, always play some games, very entertaining. If we come back one of reason will be because of them Everything was great

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Potidea hotel! The food was delicious, with a great variety to choose from, making every meal a delight. The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire facility was perfect. The facilities were excellent. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service from animators Ovidijus, Harris and Alexandra. They were incredibly engaging and entertaining, especially for our daughter, who was reluctant to leave their activities. Their enthusiasm and creativity made our stay truly unforgettable. We all had such a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again soon!

No cleaning whatsoever 3rd day in a row. Housekeeping at the most expensive suites (yes, we’re here for the 4th year in a row) is happening during afternoon nap, at 3pm. Very, very poor housekeeping. I’m going to bring all the garbage to mr. Albert personally soon… hopefully he gets the sign. The A la carte restaurant is great, as well as the friendliness from all of the bar staff. One housekeeping lady didn’t respect the DND sign (most of them don’t speak english at all) and woke all 5 family members during afternoon nap. Knocking 3 times in a row and then entering the suite. The Minifridge was broken from the start of iur stay and it took me some effort to get it changed.

One of the best hotels I have been to. The staff are truly amazing.. A la carte resturant has amazing staff, Nina and Dimitris were so helpful and welcoming. The food was so good from seafood to the meats, didnt know what to choose.. The hotel is spotless clean..Family friendly,, cant forget Christina at the bar always fast and amazing.. Would recommend 100%… I will definitely come again
