"We had a great time at Goldwyn, really nice resort with a beautiful beach and amazing pool. Good proximity to baha mar and atlantis. Not alot of food options on site but good food. Overall i highly recommand Goldwyn for couples i think its the best hotel and best choice. I highly recommend the sea view room, golf view is not the best due to road and parking."

"Don’t waste your money with this hotel. Booked a room for the last night we were in Nassau. When we arrived at the property we were denied access by staff due to a nearby fire. I told the staff member we had a room booked and he said no one was being allowed on the property. We then booked a room at another hotel and called the hotel to request a refund. An incredibly rude woman from the hotel denied the refund and then lied about staff keeping us from coming onto the property. Spend your money elsewhere. These people are thieves."

"Lonah is an asset to the business, fantastic communication pre and during our stay. We stayed in Abacus cottage which was lovely and comfortable and had modern facilities and excellent AC. We used the kayak which was great and enjoyed our time on the sun beds and soaking in the warm sea. Lonah provided excellent tips for places to visit and eat out at, we especially like NRG, turn right at the road and carefully cross the road and go past Swiss Pastry shop and NRG is upstairs within the next shops, sells tasty shakes and wonderful wraps, shrimp and chicken being our favourites, Social Sushi & Johnny Canoe Cafe great for evening food and close by. During our stay in Bahamas we have continued to use Lonah’s suggested taxis contact - Big Mama (aka Leona), she is great and very knowledgeable, we are still using here now. Jitney bus has to be experienced and can either be caught from a bus stop or you just wave at the driver and they will stop, $1.50 per person, Fish Fry approx. 15 mins away on the bus, downtown approx 25mins depending on traffic. We would recommend to all to stay at Blue Ocean Village as you can enjoy the deserted beach away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Nassau, but still easily access it via Jitney or private taxis.
