The room is airy and comfortable bed with clean white beddings.Housekeeping was good and very friendly staff.Good rates especially for business clients who want to be in town.Good transport access and connection.Hot and good shower...

I had a great experience. Polite and efficient staff who are very responsive. Not to mention a very friendly manger, called mr. Thomas. Thanksfor your support when I needed help. I will definitely visit again when Im in Nakuru. Keep the good work

Have been at the hotel thrice on various dates. Has Spacious conference halls, friendly members of staff and lovely fresh food. Haven't slept there so have no knowledge of the rooms. Has lifts incase you are not able to do the stairs

We stayed here one night during our stay in nakuru and this hotel has it all! Once we arrived, the security officer 👮🏿‍♀️ took our luggage scanned to machine we checked in at the front desk which was very quick process as well. They then proceeded to walk with us with our luggage to our hotel room so that we didn’t have to carry anything at all.we stayed at merica before but never received this kind of service at other location we were definitely impressed

Checked in on 29th May and was allocated room 310 at Merica hotel for 20 nights.On 17th June at around 3pm to 4pm ,I finished my training and took with me my bag containing my laptop and a tablet to my room 310.I visted westside mall and came back to my hotel at around 5pm and had a nap.I stepped out of the hotel room at around 8:30pm with my door access card and returned at 1:40 am and straight to bed.On 18th at around 8 am ,I received shock of a lifetime while parking my belogings to check out.My laptop and tablet were missing.I reported the matter at the reception desk and the receptionist called in the hotel security personel.The security guys took my details and promised to carry an investigation and offer feedback.At this time I learnt a different client(room 412) had also reported a similar incidence with the hotel mgt same day! I reported the matter to central police station Nakuru under OB 24/18/06/2022 and to my employer's security office as required though the hotel security personnel insisted to call a CID officer for me to record my statement instead of reporting directly to Nakuru central police station.I sensed a cover up and declined to do so untill I get advise from my employer. My employer dispatched an officer disptched to the hotel to confirm the incidence.She tasked the hotel mgt to provide cctv footage and my room access logs for the time range between 3pm 17th June to 2 am 18th June after confirming the room was not broken into since the door and windows were intact;meaning the thieve must have accessed the room with an active access card. The hotel mgt requested to give the requested data after an hour . So the officer from my employer accompanied me to Nakuru central police where I recorded a statement and obtained the OB above. We went back to the hotel after the 1 hr My officer called the hotel security personnel in effort to get the cctv footage and access logs but the personnel said he was in a meeting.So we never got the data. My humble request to Merica Hotel mgt 1.Give the requested data even if it was an inside job. 2.Make the safety of your clients and their properties a priority. In summary,the case is now with the police and hoping the truth shall come out. I will never go back to MERICA HOTEL!

We had a very nice stay at the Merica hotel in Nakuru. The rooms were very clean and airy. We ate regukarly in the restaurant and enjoyed the food there. The chef David Wanyoni was particularly accommodating and prepared some lovely local and international dishes for us.

The rooms are spacious, clean and excellent in the setup. A stay for business or leisure will be enjoyable. The food and the lounge/bar areas is excellent. Swimming pool exists. The staff need to up the game on customer service. Right from reception to the waiters they are very sluggish on the job. The hotel is in the middle of town and hence also you get a lot of noice from outside vehicles disrupting your sleep early in the morning. Parking slots is a struggle a for the guests in the hotel however they try to manage the situation
