Hotel Munsch Restaurant & Wellness, Colmar Nord - Haut-Koenigsbourg

Einfaches Hotel mit Charme. Es war nur sehr schade, dass wir als Hotelgäste um 19.00 Uhr nicht mehr ins Restaurant durften weil die Reservationszeit vorbei war. Dabei war das halbe Restaurant nicht belegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut.

View is amazing castle and vineyard. Place is quaint but definitely the right price and neat little town.

We booked this hotel through a flyer for 5 nights including dinner. Our room was very spacious well decorated and extremely clean. We had a balcony but we were on the backside of the hotel so we really didn’t have a view but it didn’t matter to us because we were out and about all day. The rooms on the front side have an excellent view of the castle at the top of the mountain. The hotel staff speaks French, Germany and English so it wasn’t hard to communicate with them. Dinner was a 4 course meal with large portions. The only drawback that someone might have is they only have the one 4 course Menü. It didn’t matter to us because everything they served was excellent. We couldn’t have eaten any better anywhere else. By the time dinner was over we were stuffed and satisfied. We will definitely be back to stay here. There is not much in the town but there are towns nearby to enjoy.

Wifi condition is very bad. No restaurant was around if you arrive late around 10pm. ( hotel restaurant closes at 9:30pm)

Have been here several times over the years. Beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet, in shoert, a pleasant place to stay. The cooking however has gone down dramatically, since when do tagiatelle figure on a menu of local specialities, or gazpacho, or brie ?? Eat flammekuchen on the terrace, and order a carafe of wine, we ordered a bottle of riesling, and 3,, one after the other, had fön, ie had passed their zenith.

Très déçus ; odeurs d égouts en entrant dans la chambre style année 70 ; restauration nulle menu unique sans choix et prix injustifié à 35 euros (pâté en entrée poulet pâte immangeable en plat camembert et crème brûlée) …. Petit dej où il faut réclamer le jus d orange les serviettes et les petits ramequins pour la confiture ; on n e reviendra pas c est sur !

Bonjour! Wir haben unser " Marché de Noël-Wochenende " im Elsass " pauschal gebucht. Das Hotel " Munsch " liegt unterhalb der " Haute Koenigsbourg", direkt am Weinberg, mit dem "Charme vergangener Zeit", dass uns gefallen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Zum Empfang , am Nachmittag, ein " Cremant ", auf Kosten des Hauses. Das Zimmer war top-clean, Dusche, WC extra!, angenehme Atmosphäre, mit 2 Sessel, Tisch und TV. Bei, nicht so, angenehmer Wetterlage, ist das ein angenehmer Comfort. Das Frühstück war vom Buffet. Was uns besonders gefallen hat; "Käse aus Frankreich ", herausragend der " Camembert." frischgebackener " Guglhupf." Die " Café - Bar " , ein " Voll-Automat ", mit vielen Varietäten, gute Kaffee-Qualität. Halb - Pension ist in Frankreich obligatorisch. Im schönen Restaurant, " Aux Ducs Lorraine ", im Hause, wurde uns jeden Abend, ein 3 Gänge-Menü, serviert, frisch zubereitet. Das hat uns sehr "geschmeckt." Die Weinkarte bietet regionale Gewächse, und mehr, auch in der Karaffe. Unsere " Französisch - Kenntnisse " haben wir, auch dieses Mal, nicht verbessern können. Gerne hätten wir uns mehr Kontakt, mit "Menschen vom, und im Hotel ", gewünscht. Was uns in guter Erinnerung bleibt; " Gastronomie & Hotellerie ." Dieses "Zusammenspiel"gibt es nicht so oft. Auch die Nähe zu Bergheim, Egiusheim,Obernai, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauville und auch Colmar, ist sehr angenehm. Unsere Empfehlung: Fahrt auf der " Elsässer Weinstraße", die Ortsdurchfahrten sind ein Erlebnis, und begeistern uns immer wieder.
