Beautiful mansion, turned into a hotel, surrounded by nature and overlooking Lake Starnberg. Staff is OK friendly, rooms are a bit dated yet clean and with all necessary features. Great place to stay if you want to enjoy the lake (please note: even though it looks very close, there is a steep hill to get from the lake up to the hotel), wish to relax away from anything bothersome, or want to find a quiet place for a work off-site. Food and bar services are a bit basic: there were two menus to choose from, and the bar area closed relatively early. A downside (especially if you are here to work) is that WiFi barely works in some of the rooms, so you might be out of luck and cannot connect. On the plus side: they have a bike shed, so your bike is well taken care of if needed.

Located in a very quiet spot on Lake Starnberg. The rooms are nice, but unfortunately I didn't sleep well for the 2 days, it may have something to do with the mattress. The rooms are not done by a cleaning lady.... The seminar room is okay, nothing more. Unfortunately it was closing day at the restaurant, so we didn't eat on site. At breakfast everything is BIO but you should be able to find something.

Beautiful setting with a friendly staff made for a relaxing stay. Access to a private beach on Starnbergersee and spa on premises.

We all had a wonderful holiday. It was so good to be able to relax and enjoy a family holiday again. Fantastic food. Staff pleasant and very helpful. It was a very beautiful area too. We didn't hire a car but found it was easy to travel locally. We will be back next year.

Peaceful and pretty location a short stroll to the lake. Relaxing a**osphere. Great spa and sauna facilities. Extremely bio focussed, in a nice way.

Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig, auch in meinem Zimmer hab ich nichts von meinen Nachbarn gehört. Alles ist klein und fein und strahlt viel Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit aus. Das Essen war sehr gut und ich habe dort ein paar neue Sachen probiert, die ich noch nie gegessen hatte. Der "bio" Gedanke wird nach meinem Eindruck sehr gut umgesetzt.

Haben ein sehr angenehmes Wochenende dort verbracht.Die nähere Umgebung ist ideal für schöne Spaziergänge und Outdooraktivitäten.Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.Sehr freundliches Personal.

Das Schlossgut Oberambach in wunderbare Lage oberhalb des Starnberger Sees. Ein guter Startpunkt um die Region per Fahrrad oder auch zu Fuß zu erkunden. Für mich sind der freundliche Service und die sehr gute Küche die Hihlights.
