The hotel is easy to find. It’s a 3 story hotel and sits above a bakery. Has its own underground parking structure with limited space. They do not offer a buffet. They have a meal plan for 6€ where you get 1 juice, 1 coffee, 1 pastry, 1 yogurt, 1 fruit, and 1 baked bread. We opted out of that and ate at Wimmer bakery downstairs and across the street at the Bio Mart. The rooms are decent European size. I was surprised that the bathroom was bigger than any other hotels I’ve ever been to in Europe. It’s a large 2 person shower with no door. I hate that because water splatters everywhere. The toilet is separate but shares the same sliding door. The tv does not work in our room, has a full length mirror, closet space with 5 hangers, 15 outlets, hair dryer. They lack counter space but we were able to make it work by using the window ledge and the stools. The windows had automatic exterior shade and you can open the window. No safety box. Comfortable bed and sheets. Having AC/heater was a plus. We had our Do Not Disturb sign on the door and they still came in. They didn’t touch our bed but they changed our towels. Considering they do not have a safe, we brought our valuables with us. Close proximity to the subway and restaurants. Other than house keeping invading our space when we had a sign, this place clean, decent, and great location.
The NH München Unterhaching hotel is set in a quiet residential of Munich, yet it’s only a 15-minute train ride to the city’s main sites. The S-Bahn station is 300m from the hotel and from here guests can access attractions such as the Marienplatz and the famous Maximilianstrasse shopping street. Business travelers will enjoy being only a 20-minute drive from the Messe Munich exhibition center and the International Congress Center. There are 80 comfortable rooms at NH München Unterhaching. There are a variety of options for every taste including local specialties such as Bavarian sausages. Our lobby bar serves your favorite drinks alongside a menu of light meals and snacks. In the summer, you can enjoy these on our terrace decorated in a Bavarian beer garden style. For snacks at any time of night or day, there is a self-service Open Bar. There is also a wellness center with a gym, sauna, and steam bath.
TTraveler 123Let's start with the spa - an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation. From the moment I stepped into the tranquil haven of the Vier Jahreszeiten Spa, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of serenity and well-being. The spa facilities are impeccable, featuring a range of treatments and therapies that cater to every guest's needs. The expert therapists displayed a deep understanding of their craft, ensuring a customized and revitalizing experience. After indulging in one of their signature massages, I felt completely refreshed and invigorated. The spa's attention to detail and commitment to providing a sanctuary of calmness was truly impressive.
As for the location, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is a true gem in the heart of Munich. Situated on the prestigious Maximilianstrasse, it offers an ideal home base for exploring the vibrant city. From the hotel, you can easily reach Munich's iconic attractions, designer boutiques, and renowned dining establishments. The convenience of being able to stroll through the historic city center or simply step outside to admire the beauty of Maximilianstrasse made my stay even more enjoyable. It's a testament to the hotel's commitment to offering guests the best of Munich right at their doorstep.
The overall experience at Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski was nothing short of exceptional. The luxurious accommodations, attentive staff, and attention to detail throughout the property were all factors that contributed to a memorable stay. The blend of classic elegance and modern amenities created an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere, which I found to be both comfortable and inspiring.
In conclusion, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich is a top-tier hotel that truly understands the art of hospitality. The remarkable spa and the unbeatable location in the heart of Munich set it apart as a destination that caters to travelers seeking a perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the best of Munich in a luxurious and welcoming setting.
ผผู้เข้าพักWhile the hotel stay was comfortable and the rooms a nice and clean we found the front desk staff rude and unhelpful. From the start they have shown no courtesy, I called up the hotel from the station to inquire about the location and landmark and found the person speaking to me couldnt care less about giving directions. Then when we arrived there, there was no one at the front desk. Since there are two Holiday Inns adjacent to each other we were confused as to which one is ours and kept the cab waiting to check. Finally we had to let the cab go as not one was there to answer our query. After a long wait the lady manning the front desk finally emerged from the cabin and was very rude with us. She couldnt find our reservation, we had to panic call the booking.com customer service and incurred a huge mobile bill for the international call only so that we could confirm our booking. She insisted we had not paid for our rooms and we had to argue and show proof of payment. Any query we had about the hotel amenities or sightseeing were unhelpfully answered. The person who looks after the snacks corner was the only congenial and courteous person. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station and the bus stop is right outside the drive way, There are some good restaurants about 5- 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Lidl is a stones throw away so are a few other grocery stores. Once you get the hang of the place its pretty convenient. The only reason why the rating is average is because the hotel is good and the rooms were comfortable and neat. Otherwise only based on their customer service it would be poor.
Had a most enjoyable stay at the Drei Löwen in Munich Location is absolutely excellent at the hauptbanhof with ease of access to all U and S bahn . Great team of staff at reception that were very helpful Raymonda was very professional and helpful in the way she dealt with customers. Ben was exceptional in the way he followed up and dealt with any queries we had Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast each morning was excellent with a great choice particularly the omelet made by the chef to your taste in front of you Overall this is a fantastic hotel as its location lends itself so well to exploring Munich the Marianplatz is just a leisurely walk from it Well done to all at the hotel .
would give a zero if I could. Currently in the reception with nowhere to go, where we've been for well over two and a half hours. Our rooms (which were paid for through ******* in October, and have twice had written confirmation) have been given to other people. The receptionist says he can do nothing without authorisation from the Manager, who won't answer her phone. He's refused to do anything to assist. He is now going to lock up and leave is in reception with nowhere to sleep. Took 15 hours to get here from Heathrow today, and this is how it's ended up. Worst experience in a hotel EVER. Update: Reception found us rooms in a sister hotel at 12:15am. Only 200 hundred yards away, but surely these had been available since we'd arrived in Munich? Room was ok and were still able to have breakfast, which was fine enough. Manager of the Belle Blue was apologetic and gave us a suite for the rest of our stay, which consisted of two bedrooms (one with ensuite), a shower room and lounge with kitchen area. It was sparse but nice. Breakfast each morning was quite good for continental and the staff were friendly and always cleaning. As people have said before, the area isn't the nicest but it's not a big deal. It's not far to the Underground and bus station, and there is a fabulous microbrewery/restaurant next door. I would consider going again.
