Hotel Leo Muhlhausen

We arrived on Sunday after Reception had closed, which was surprising considering it was just after 5:00pm. Had we known, it might have been OK, but trying to figure out how to check in was not easy. I found a phone number in our booking confirmation, but the woman who answered didn't speak English. She was able to patch in a man who translated, but that wasn't straightforward considering he didn't seem to know the hotel. I was told to look for a "safe" at the "front door", which I assumed was the streetside door with the Hotel sign. When I went out that door, I was locked out and had to walk around the building through the parking lot and back to where I'd entered after parking. There was a box with several locked slots. Once I was walked through the process, I had the keys for both our rooms. My son's was upstairs and ours on the ground level between the Service Room and the Breakfast Rm Kitchen... both noisy in the early hours, as was the Parking lot right outside our window. The morning receptionist was great, friendly and very amenable. She immediately apologized for our room and said she had another room ready for us upstairs, next to our son. He was able to help move our luggage upstairs as there is no elevator. We had chosen to face the back of the hotel thinking it would be quieter than streetside, but I think the street would have been less noisy. The parking lot had lots of traffic activity in the mornings and night. Otherwise the hotel is fine.

We (3 adults) arrived at the hotel after 5:00, having travelled several hours by car from France, and the reception had closed. It was very difficult trying to get checked in. First, the phone number posted on the door was reported as unassigned; so I looked up my booking and fortunately there was a number provided that worked. Unfortunately the woman who answered did not speak English. Eventually she was able to connect someone who did. I was told to look for a “safe box” at the front door… assuming the “front” is on the street side where the Hotel Leo sign is. I got locked out when I tried to look for a lock box of some kind. With the interpreter still on the phone, I walked around to the back of the building again, circling along the driveway and parked cars to where I’d entered a door from the parking lot initially. It did not feel like the “front”. Eventually I found the lock boxes and got our keys to our rooms. Our first room was terrible, on the main floor between the maintenance storage rooms and the breakfast kitchen. We assumed it was a room specifically for people with dogs. Needless to say, it was very noisy at 6:00am. However, the Receptionist was very friendly, accommodating and spoke English very well. She put us into a room on the second floor, next to our son, so that he could help us with carrying our bags up and down the stairs, etc. The room was comfortable but the noise from the parking lot in the mornings was loud, with people checking out, trucks revving engines or just loud people going out for a cigarette. We’d hoped to be able to open our windows for fresh air, as there’s no air conditioning in the hotel, but the level of noise was too much. I’d think a room on the street side might be a bit less loud, but I don’t know… it’d have traffic. The hotel is fine for a quick overnight. We stayed 4 nights, but had no other option considering we were visiting people in Mühlhausen. I do give full kudos to the woman at the front desk… her job is not an easy one but she was very friendly.

Wir waren von gestern auf heute dort, Übernachtung plus Frühstück. Ruhige Lage. Tolle Zimmer, toller Service, freundliches Personal, sauberes Zimmer und Hotel liegt in absoluter Nähe zur Therme in Sinsheim. Frühstück hatte für uns alles was das Herz begehrt. Total empfehlenswert!

Es hat alles super funktioniert. Sogar telefonisch konnten wir gut Kontakt aufnehmen.Da wir unseren Hund dabei hatten, wurde uns ein Zimmer mitAusgang auf die Terrasse vermietet. Zwei Frühstückszimmer, die nicht überfüllt waren obwohl das Hotel ausgebucht war. Freundliches, kompetentes Personal

Wir haben aufgrund eines Jochen Schweizer Gutscheins im Hotel Leo übernachtet. Morgens wurde uns leider der Wertgutschein für die Therme nicht ausgehändigt, den wir dabei hatten. Nach einem kurzen Telefonat mit der Rezeption wurde mir dieser aber per Email nachgeschickt, sodass alles gut funktioniert hat. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Der gebuchte Sekt stand bereit als wir ins Hotel kamen. Das Frühstück ist schön angerichtet und besonders hervorzuheben ist hier, dass Wurst und Käse in getrennten Behältern sind. Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Es gibt Parkplätze am Hotel und Restaurants in Laufnähe. Auch von der Therme sind es nur 15 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Schöne große und saubere Zimmer. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Da wahr für jeden was dabei. Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. 16 min von der Therme Sinsheim entfernt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!

Unfreundlicher Empfang, Zimmer alt und Dachschräge, kein Balkon,Fenster schlagen an also nicht dicht,im gross und Ganzen nicht Empfehlenswert.Frühstück OK aber Personal sehr unfreundlich kein hallo oder guten Morgen.Kommen bestimmt nicht wieder her.

Wir haben uns für ein verlängertes Wochenende in das Hotel eingebucht. Zur Therme sind es ca 15. Min mit dem Auto. Wir können es defintiv weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist ruhig, die Zimmer sauber und das Frühstück umfangreich. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Auch wenn es nur eine Übernachtung war...alles prima, Rückfragen vorab per Telefon, Anreise mit Schlüsselkarte, sauberes,gemütliches Zimmer und gutem Frühstück am nächsten Morgen. Service-Telefonisch, bei Anreise und beim Frühstück super nett! Gerne wieder!
