The environment was very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful view whwre you can see some of the sea of clouds. They give you disposable coverings for you to put on top of the fresh pillow bedding and mattress for extra hygiene which is a nice touch I haven't seen before. Bathroom is very clean, though there are only two toilets and two showers and two sinks, so do note that for busy season, but it wasn't an issue at all during my stay. They provided breakfast too, fresh milk the boss heated for me when I got up, and red sugar glutinous rice cakes wrapped in banana leaves (babas), and it was fun to get ready for the day with new friends on the balcony overlooking the village. I think the environment is very good for meeting new friends and other solo travelers- I arrived at the hostel randomly at the same time as three other girls, and we explored Manghong togetjer on the boss's recommendations for itinerary and sightseeing. And the next day the boss dropped us off at a tea roasting experience, and just as we were heading to Nuogan another girl from the hostel finished her tea roasting session, so we all went to Nuogan togetjer to play. The boss even helped load my luggage onto the shuttle bus so that it could pick me up at a sightseeing spot further down the mountain!

When I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made. The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car. When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff. The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion. This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time! One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay. Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

The most amazing place to stay in Jingmaishan! The rooms are fantastic, the tea sessions, and candies/snacks are a great touch, and the best part: the hosts. An amazing Bulang couple who know the ins and outs of tea, the mountain and its history. They are super helpful and do their best to accommodate English speakers. Moto rentals for a good price and a restaurant is right across the street from the hotel. Forgot to mention that you wake up to an amazing view of the mountains. If you had any hesitation about staying in Jingmaishan, let this post convince you to book your trip.

首先誇老闆還有小哥哥小姐姐們超熱情好溝通，因為剛好趕上剛結束連續的雨天，山上的小蟲蟲們都出來了，又很怕，小哥哥小姐姐一直在積極解決，又是幫忙打又是蚊香花露水，互相理解，山裡的雨季是這樣，訂在雲端就是因為露台，確實很巴適，看日落很爽，設施也很新，而且民宿位置也很好，就在去蜂王樹和哎冷山的路口，準備下次在雨季之前再來一次多住兩天，太舒服啦！城市牛馬嚮往的生活！！謝謝老闆的白茶，香甜!!

ภายนอก Sunriver Forest Park สามารถเดินทางไปสวนสัตว์ได้ไม่จำกัด โรงแรมมีรถบัสไปสวนสัตว์ทุกชั่วโมง ห้องไม่ใหญ่มากมีห้องอาบน้ำและอ่างอาบน้ำ ห้องน้ำและอ่างล้างหน้าอยู่ในห้องไม่มีฉากกั้นแยกและมีกระจกสะท้อนแสงทำให้ห้องดูไม่เล็ก โรงแรมมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวมาก บ้านไม้ทั้งหมด มีสัตว์หลายชนิดที่สามารถโต้ตอบได้ โดยจะมีการปล่อยแพนด้าแดงตัวหนึ่งเข้ามาในร้านอาหารทุกเช้าและสามารถลูบคลำได้อย่างอิสระ มีค่าธรรมเนียมสำหรับการโต้ตอบภายในสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว แพนด้าแดงและนกฮูกน่ารัก ร้านอาหารมีราคาไม่ถูกที่ 258 ต่อขนาดใหญ่หนึ่งและเล็กหนึ่งแห่ง แต่ราคาแพงเนื่องจากมีสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดีและมีชนกลุ่มน้อยร้องเพลงและเต้นรำในตอนเย็น

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ขอแนะนําลานบ้าน Xiangong ในภูเขา Jingmai! ขับรถขึ้นเขาเองกังวลเรื่องที่จอดรถมากที่สุด มีที่จอดรถกว้างขวางซึ่งสะดวกมาก ที่จอดรถสะดวกมาก ที่ตั้งของโฮมสเตย์นั้นยอดเยี่ยม ตั้งอยู่ในหมู่บ้านแรกของภูเขา Jingmai หน้าต่างเป็นป่าชาโบราณ คุณสามารถชมพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นของทะเลหมอกในตอนเช้าได้อย่างง่ายดาย และทัศนียภาพก็ยอดเยี่ยม   การออกแบบผังห้องได้สบายมาก พื้นที่กว้างขวาง โปร่งแสง บางห้องมีระเบียงชมวิว ภายในสะอาดเป็นระเบียบ มีอุปกรณ์อํานวยความสะดวกครบครัน และเครื่องนอนก็นอนสบาย พนักงานมีความกระตือรือร้นและเอาใจใส่ ตอบสนองทันเวลา และพวกเขาจะแนะนําเส้นทางท่องเที่ยวโดยรอบอย่างอดทน คุณสามารถสัมผัสประสบการณ์การทําชารอบเตาและปาร์ตี้กองไฟที่เต็มไปด้วยดอกไม้ไฟและดอกไม้ไฟของมนุษยธรรมในท้องถิ่น ไม่ว่าคุณจะดูทะเลหมอก เยี่ยมชมป่าชาโบราณ และต้องการสัมผัสกับภูเขาจิงใหม่อย่างกลมกลืน โฮมสเตย์แห่งนี้เป็นตัวเลือกที่ดีที่สุด และฉันจะพักในครั้งต่อไป!

All the reviews are true, but it’s not the wooden building that causes it.  Yes, it is very loud and you hear everyone. We’ve stayed in other fully wooden places, it’s worse here. Maybe not the wood but the guests are the problem. Loud Chinese people, walking the stairs with the heaviest pace you can imagine. Maybe help the other guests by hanging some warnings on the stairs: please be mindful for the other guests when walking to your room.  Also loud Chinese tourist on the square below. Not only while eating they scream all over the place, also with the tea ceremony nobody asks them to please stop talking after 23:00/24:00. We were up till 02:00AM because of tea drinking Chinese people at the fire. We stayed in the suite, which is located above the fire pit. Maybe the other rooms are less noisy. At 7AM each morning, somebody ran down the stairs. We think it’s the staff. It wakes you up through your earplugs.  The staff is OK. They are very shy, not rude. They could be more pro active though as we didn’t feel like they wanted to do something.. which is different to rude but also not very friendly.  The other villages around are way bigger and less cozy than Wengji. Also, with this guesthouse being just next to the town, it was perfect to escape the tourists most of the time. We didn’t find other accommodations in Wengji with the same aesthetics as Shishi guesthouse so we can’t recommend other places better than this. Maybe if the guesthouse would invest in trying to keep the noise down under the various guests, with text signs or with clearer house rules (fire pit), the noise problem wouldn’t be as bad.  Maybe if they tried to enthusiast their staff more and keep them from watching Chinese drama shows on their phones all day, they would be a bit more welcoming.  We’ve met a lot of amazing people in Wengji, it’s definitely not the locals that have this behaviour.  Lastly, the suite has a cubicle bathroom in the room, they really don’t clean this well. It smells very bad and just feels dirty all over.  For comfort this place is too expensive, for the location and aesthetics you won’t find better options nearby.

ที่ตั้งของโฮมสเตย์ดีมาก ไม่อยู่ในหมู่บ้านโบราณ Wengji เลยเงียบสงบและมีวิวกว้างเหมาะสําหรับการชมทิวทัศน์ พระอาทิตย์ตก ท้องฟ้าเต็มไปด้วยดวงดาว และทะเลหมอก! ใช้เวลาเพียงสองหรือสามนาทีในการขับรถไปยังหมู่บ้านโบราณ บ้านแบบดั้งเดิมของชาวบราวน์เป็นโครงสร้างไม้ทั้งหมดและมีเอฟเฟกต์ฉนวนกันเสียงอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และมีความคาดหวังทางจิตวิทยาก่อนมา แต่สิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกในห้องนั้นทันสมัย วิวหน้าต่างอยู่ยงคงกระพันและระเบียงก็ดีกว่า ตอนกลางคืนเจ้านายยังจุดไฟบนระเบียง สบายมากที่จะดูดาวบนท้องฟ้าด้วยไฟ! ข้าวแห้งสําหรับมื้อเช้ารสชาติดี ฉันยังชิมผู่เอ๋อและชาขาว หลังจากดื่มแล้ว ทุกคนก็ซื้อกองกลับไปทันที! บ้านของเจ้าของมีต้นชาเก่า 80 เอเคอร์ ชาในโรงงานชาของเขาดีมาก แต่น่าเสียดายที่ผู้สูงอายุจะไม่ประชาสัมพันธ์ นี่เป็นประสบการณ์ที่น่าจดจําจริงๆ!

Highly recommend this place! I stayed for 3 weeks, and they took such good care of me! We went tea picking, and drank much tea together! Their breakfast noodles are the best! They have been so accommodating even when language was a challenge, and awesome at translating, and really making me feel at home! Hai ge also speaks English! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! It’s a bit off the beaten path, but I loved being in between the bigger villages, and it feels like a perfect balance between tourist area and local area! The other family’s and village people around were amazing as well! If you get a chance definitely come and stay! 10/10!
