The hotel staff is all very friendly. The hotel rooms are quite dated and my bed was extremely lopsided in my room and the room could have been more clean but it was fine for the price.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Booked 2 rooms together, 1 toilet completely non functioning. No maintenance or manager available on a Saturday night. The only option was to split up my party and move rooms, which we declined. No discount or apology available. The woman working the desk Sunday was absolutely awful and some of the worst customer service I’ve ever received.

The staff are excellent. We received a free upgrade to a suite with a full kitchenette. The room was spacious. Convenient location. Ample parking.

We stayed here recently while on a ****** trip. Location from ****** was great. We didnt have to go through town everytime to go between hotel and ******. It was clean. Easy to check in and out. A little noisy but quieted down during night. Close to restaurants. We would stay here again

It was quiet and peaceful. I dont like the check in times due to working 3rd shift and needed sleep before work but its like that everywhere. Paid the early check in fee. Slept great.

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and neat in appearance. This is our fourth or fifth stay. Delicious breakfast today, Jan. 1, 24. Sausage links, biscuits, and gravy among the normal continental breakfast items. It is DEFINITELY our go to motel when we travel to Mt Pleasant!

Finding a decent hotel that accepts dogs (esp our two 60-80lbs doodles) and doesn’t charge an arm and leg is tough. This was our first time staying in Mt Pleasant and we were thrilled with the experience. We were able to get the king bed room we’d booked, and the desk clerk kindly put us close to the outside door to make it easy to take the dogs in and out. Hotel itself is no-frills, but it was clean and well-maintained, the room was spacious, had the basics as far as mini toiletries, and had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Breakfast was mostly muffins/granola bars/oatmeal with a couple options for cereal or bread/bagels to toast. Location was great (right next to Target, Subway, 7-Eleven) and grass/trash cans outside for doggie “business.” Overall, great experience for the price. We’ll be adding this to our list the next time we need a stopover in northern MI.
