The chalet was perfect! I was greeted by the host/owner on the property and she was always available for questions. It is a large property with a couple lakes/dams, surrounded by forest, amazing bird life, quiet, peaceful, hiking or trail running right next door, a small township, cafe nearby. I stayed in the chalet (not carriage) had lots of fun decor (decommissioned mouse door in bathroom); clean, great wifi, easy to locate off the main road, a nice warm bed, shower was hot, views were beautiful, kitchen served my needs with plenty of pots/pans/cutlery. Will stay again when I’m up that way. The trail run I did at 6am was just spectacular scenery (4.5 hours of it) around Mt. Nebo/D’Aguilar forest. Next time I’ll book two nights so I can shower and eat post run — didn’t get to see the township this time, unfortunately.

Very nice location.So very quiet and peaceful.Wonderful bird life and sounds.Happy Chickens called on us which was a Bonus.Railway carriage was decked out with tremendous Memorabilia and interesting Historical pieces.Sorry our stay was only for one night.
