Needed a place to stay between Monterey and Santa Cruz. this little hotel came up and the reviews all said the same thing. Looks basic but is very nice inside. I arrived at night and it looks basic and not very well lit, as described. after taking a little walk I found the lobby (in the middle of the buildings) you cant see the lobby from the parking area. Went to the room and found it to be clean, spacious and comfortable. It is also a 1 minute drive to the beach. Would stay again.

This is a great little hotel! We chose it because of the location, and we were really impressed with how comfortable, clean, new, and quiet it was. We also appreciated the text message about check in & the local restaurants, and the free coffee (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos!) In the lobby was really cool!

Other than our room being right next to the highway and us needing to buy earplugs the stay was great. The room was clean and the amenities were amazing.

The property was clean, modern and the staff was very friendly. There are very few indoor hotels that are reasonably priced and this was a pleasant surprise. It is about 5-6 miles north of CSUMB, I would highly recommend this place.

This was my first time staying at a place using real down blankets . . . stayed warm all night in December !
Also had a decent self service espresso machine in the reception area .

The room was super clean and cozy! We loved staying here. It was really quiet too and in a nice area. Their latte machine was amazing too!
