We had a very enjoyable stay at Cornwall Beach. Very pleasant staff provided day and evening activities. Rooms all have an ocean view with a very nice patio. Airport proximity was a plus. Recent storm damage to Montego Beach site may have impacted Cornwall Beach.
Limited dining: One buffet, for three meals a day, seemed to be a little short staffed. It was sometimes difficult to find a plate, or necessary silverware. Food was plentiful and varied, staff was pleasant and accommodating. The a la carte dinner option was limited to one restaurant. Reservations must be made at the front desk and people lined up half an hour or so before reservations could be made. Despite waiting 20 minutes, we couldn’t get a reservation for the first night.
Bath towels were in short supply. Front desk staff were attentive, they just didn’t seem to have enough. Guests claimed beach and pool chairs VERY early in the morning by leaving towels or personal items. Unclear that if left for more than 30 min, someone could move your things and take your chair. We learned this when the chair I claimed at 6:00 am for my 98 yr old mother was given away by the security guard while we were eating breakfast.
Rooms were big but had no dressers. Slow shower drain led to a flooded floor, thus the need for extra towels. Shorter showers helped.
All said, we had a lovely time. The beach is beautiful, the sun was warm, and the bar was open! Consider your priorities when choosing a resort. We would come again!

All staff were super friendly and helpful when assistance was needed. The view was amazing, and you could comfortably walk up the street to check out local shops and hangouts. Will visit again for sure!

This was just a quick getaway with my husband to relax and escape. The property was a nice size that we could get to where we needed easily. Food was delicious. Bar options great and having access to both resorts was great. I wouldn’t come with kids as they would need more to do but you could always do excursions. The water was clear and beach was small but beautiful. All rooms were ocean front.

This resort was very nice and the staff were kind and very respectful. The only issue we really had were the sheets were dirty when we first entered the room but they soon fixed it. And the water pressure is kind of low. But other than those issues, it was nice.

If this is all you can budget then still go, but if you can swing any more then pick another place.
The BEACH was .... I am going to say great we had a storm move in on day one and 2 so it was a mess no fault of the hotel of course. they worked amazing on day 3 to clean up the beach. it's a small beach area and small swim area I was not use to that. unfortunately, due to the storm I was not there long enough to get any good snorkeling the waters just didn't calm the bottom of the sea bed enough to see anything Durning my 5 days.
ROOMS; The view from the room was fantastic, I loved that I could spend the day in my room (storm) and still a great ocean view and see all that was happening on the resort as all the room look over the ocean and resort. rooms were clean they put a few drinks in your fridge. beds felt hard when you sat on them, but they were not bad for sleeping, I was quite surprised. Is this a 5-star room? NO but I knew that going in, yes there was chipped tile, yes every nook and Kranny of the shower had black grout from tons of use, I am not that picky I care if its clean and it felt clean just worn. no big deal to me. HOWEVER LOL we had no hot water the whole 5 days we were there. the remote for the tv was missing batteries we had to ask twice to get batteries and then found that no matter what button you pushed on remote it only turned tv on and off. The room has no coffee maker and try to get coffee at this place early .......LOL yeah rig

The property is in good condition. The location is the best, but … the staff are uninterested in their service jobs, but I understood it more when I witnessed a kitchen manager physically grab a staff member by the collar of their uniform, when he informed her the orange juice dispenser needed to be filled.
One day we had no bottled water on the property until 3pm from the evening before. They ran out of beer at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. Food was good, but scarce.
I believe there is a HUGE management problem, here. We had to beg for toilet paper.
It’s sad, because like I said the location and all around set up of this resort is fantastic. I just wish someone else owned it.
