Grande Baia Resort & Spa

Hôtel surprenant qui ressemble beaucoup à un camping de luxe. Il est très retiré et rien n'est à proximité. Heureusement que cet établissement propose de tout (glaces, bar, muscu, plage, piscine, spa...). Cependant la piscine était très froide car non chauffée et le restaurant à volonté trop chère pour la qualité du repas. Séjour agréable et endroits à découvrir.

I have never experienced such arrogance or total incompetence from any hotel I’ve ever stayed at before .. We were treated with contempt from the moment we arrived kept hanging around on check in for ages even though it was not busy by an older Italian gentlemen before being shown to our room for no apparent reason, even though it was late at night and only a minutes walk from reception! Also We had specifically emailed and asked for a quiet room as the hotel was spread out and there were plenty of rooms well away from the main area that would have suited us perfectly, instead we were put probably in the worst place possible right next to the swimming pool where loud and ridiculous music was splayed most of the day especially when two or three people did aqua aerobics ! And when i asked at check in if we were in a quiet room the Gentleman blatantly lied to us and said yes its way over the other side, no integrity and dishonest, If you don’t welcome English travellers please don't advertise with English travel agents! Fortunately we spent most of our time at the beach which to be fair was sunning but i wouldn't would to be there in high season as it would be rammed I'm sure The lifeguards however are pointless on the beach, clearly not there to save you if your in trouble as there on there phones most of the time and go to lunch at the same time so don't drown at lunchtimes! they are also rude and tell you, you cant have more than two beds for your group even if the beach is virtually empty, had to almost have a fight with one about it as he was rude and aggressive rather than being friendly and using common sense if you don't get to the evening buffet early some of the main dishes don't get replaced and your choice gets very limited oh and by the way if you choose to pay extra and eat at the "al a Carte" restaurant don't ask for a gin and tonic as you cant order a drink from the bar even though its only a bout 10 paces from the restaurant we were told blatantly we could not have our choice of drink with our meal i even asked if i could walk over and get one but was told rudely no! what is wrong with this Hotel no idea about customer service at all really didn't want to eat there then, but we had promised our daughter a Pizza. But the main issue really is how cut off the hotel is Taxis come from Olbia half an hour away so they are ridiculously expensive so your best staying there with your own car so you can escape from the hotel, there is a shuttle bus that goes to nearby beaches and we were told we could ask for this to take us into a nearby village where there are a couple of nice restaurants one evening but it failed to pick us back up at the agreed time basing it on a misunderstanding!! fortunately the owner of the lovely restaurant asked one of his waiters to run us back to the hotel, now thats customer service :-) The lady who runs the info spot Diana ( i think) however was very helpful and helped us pla

Our 2nd visit and we had a wonderful time. The location is stunning, extremely friendly staff who would do anything to make your stay nice and memorable. Great choice of food and lovely evening entertainment with Italian (and not only) songs - congratulations to the team!! We are planning to go back next year

Lovely place, staff helpful and friendly. Excellent spa, had 2 massages with Julia and both were amazing. Brilliant breakfast with every choice you could wish for. Only problem … the steep hills to get to our apartment, not good if you’re elderly like we are. Bonus though, they have golf buggies which take you up to your front door, brilliant. Paulo was fantastic. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and well stocked but bring a kettle and tea towel if you want a hot drink. Some lovely restaurants nearby - a car is a must because the hotel is quite isolated but beautiful. Lovely stay…

The resort has everything it needs to be an amazing place to stay however it was failed by the apparent belief location is all that’s needed for a quality stay. Apart from the pool bar staff the general attitude of staff appeared to be that doing the basic job was “only as a favour” On arrival at 09:45pm we were told we had to be quick or nobody could take us to our villa. Upon arrival at the villa there was no WiFi and reception wasn’t answering the phone. When I eventually got hold of Reception they said everyone has “gone home” and they can’t do anything till the next day. Twice we attempted to eat dinner there. First time at the restaurant we arrived at 8:45pm (service hours are 7:30pm-9:00pm) and was told they were not serving anymore. We had to drive 20 min to a local village for dinner. The second attempt we turned up to the buffet at 7:35pm (service hours are 7:15pm-8:45pm) and was told we had to wait as they were full. We were let in at 8:10pm only to find lots of empty options not being re-filled. By the time we went for desert there was only 1 option left. By 8:30pm the staff were setting the tables for breakfast service. When I checked out the next day reception asked “How was your stay”. I don’t think they expected or wanted any response to that question. When I advised of my dinner issues and other concerns the response was “Oh OK” followed by “here is your bill”. If they had even acknowledged, shown some interest or offered a token goodwill gesture I would have left feeling a little positive and likely not done a review.

its a beautiful hotel, with lovely staff and very clean and comfortable. we can not wait to go back next year.

Review of Grande Baia Resort & Spa I recently enjoyed a flying four-day visit to Grande Baia Resort & Spa, and what a wonderful experience it was. I stayed in an apartment (11-1), located in a quiet area just off the main hub. The apartment was spacious, clean, and peaceful, equipped with all essential modern conveniences. It was within easy walking distance to both the main complex and the beach. Visiting in May proved to be the perfect balance of warm weather without the crowds, giving a real feeling of space. There was never an issue getting a sunbed by the pool or on the beach. The stunning Sardinian sea never disappoints, with the beautiful view of Isola Tavolare across the water adding to the charm. I used the rattling shuttle bus once or twice but mostly enjoyed the short walk through the lush flora. The scent of jasmine and mirto in the air was delightful! The reception team, especially Maria and the half Sarda/British lady whose name I didn't catch (apologies), were wonderful. They were always happy to help and genuinely cared about my experience. Massimo and his team in the restaurant were also faultless, and the bar team, lifeguards, and pool staff all had a great attitude. Perhaps it’s because it was early in the season, but I'd like to think that's just how they are. Last but not least, I squeezed in a visit to the spa on the last morning and had the whole place to myself. What’s not to love? Thank you to the spa team! I would definitely stay here again, though perhaps not during peak season :) Thank you, Grande Baia Resort & Spa, for a memorable stay!

We stayed in may. The beach bar pizza place wasn’t open. We were off season so understandable. We stayed in a villa which is genuinely lovely. The shuttle service to town wasn’t as regular as could be with no evening service just costly taxis. You need a car as getting about is tricky without one. We walked 6 miles one day to get some essentials. Evening meal buffet was not for me. Very little left as people pile their plates. Wine and drinks also extra on top of price. We stayed room only so only had dinner one night in the restaurant. I would stay again but I would hire a car or bike as without it you are limited. Mistake on my part.

We have just come back from a six day stay at Grande Baia Resort & Spa which I have to say was amazing. Our aprtment was huge, comfortable and clean. They had everything you needed. The only time you see a lot of people was at breakfast and dinner and even then the eating areas were comfortable and the food was tasty. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The grounds were clean and tidy and someone was on hand when ever we needed them. I would highly recommend this holiday resort. Their beach was amazing too!
