OYO Hotel Mobile, Al I-65 at Airport Blvd

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST possible hotel that I could have booked. I was told before check-in that my room had no television nor microwave. The night desk clerk told me that I could contact my booking company and would be given a refund despite the website said no refunds. Since I was going to be there for 3 days, I decided that 3 days without a television nor a microwave would be impossible, so I never checked in. It has taken over a week of being given the runaround to find out that the night desk clerk straight up lied. I did NOT get a refund --not even a partial refund. You can bet that NONE OF THE ROOMS HAVE ANYTHING ON THE AMENITIES LIST, CAUSE I SAW EVERYTHING IN THE OFFICE BEHIND THE DESK!!!! IF YOU BOOK HERE, YOU'RE AN *****!!! I'M WARNING YOU AHEAD OF TIME!!!!! I wish someone would have posted a review warning travelers about their experience, I NEVER would have taken the time that it took us to locate it, especially since they didn't even have a sign up, only a banner that you not only couldn't see, but couldn't have read if you COULD HAVE seen it, because it was all wadded up!!!!! TRAVELERS BEWARE:::: THIS HOTEL IS DEFINITELY NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!!!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET FROM THIS "CHAIN"!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was nasty bugs

The place was scary for sure. Debris EVERYWHERE outside as they were remodeling, but made no effort to hide the trash. There were broken toilet seats and glass and literal trash scattered all over the premesis. The pool water was green. There were 3 roaches in my hotel. They didnt give me any towels or soap. The walls were thin that i could hear the neighbors all night. The top lock was broken, so i only had the 1 lock. There were stains and holes everywhere. I only stayed there because i was solo and had no other option except for my car, and i am not from this state. The tv and microwave were broken and i wasnt informed of that until i got there. When i booked online it said id have those things. I wish i had taken more pictures, but i didnt know id get the chance to review this place. This is all i took, but i promise, it is way worse than the pictures look. Spend your money elsewhere.

No amenities at the place. Heat wasn't working. No comforter on the bed. I was told we are not honoring the online price and I had to pay more when I got there.

Horrible Hotel! First under construction and rooms are roach infested. Not only that… they force you to put a $50 CASH deposit. No credit or debit. Had to leave immediately to another hotel. Be warned.

Horrible experience. No working tv or microwave. Customer service went to voice-mail when trying to get refund due to it being night. The pool was green and there was trash and debris everywhere from renovating which they need to hurry up and do...will never ever ever ever ever go back.

No air conditioner, no shower curtain, bugs, dirty sheets and no light bulbs. Was an entire construction zone

No television or microwave. It was cold the night we stayed and the heat didn't work but the fan blew cold air all night and we weren't able to shut it off. All in all it was a miserable night and we won't ever stay there again

Rude guy at the reception. He wouldn’t accept my deposit payment by card (a weird hotel policy of course, insisting on cash payments), but the guy was so unprofessional. He communicates that weird policy while looking down. He tells me he won’t check me in and tells me, to go ask my booking agent for a refund. The booking agent (*******) has of course refused to refund my money. Why? Because OYO Hotel refused to release the money I paid for services they did NOT provide. Yet *******’s website (the booking page) does NOT warn clients that only cash payments will be accepted at check in for the mandatory security deposit. What does a guest do if he arrives at the hotel in the night, like I did, and has no access to any cash? And what business is this that absolutely doesn’t accept card payments, even at a fee, while they do not pre-warn their customers before they pre-pay for their accommodation. ******* and OYO Hotel will always owe me my money until they refund me.
