Coral Beach Hotel

Recently stayed one night at Coral beach hotel in Mirissa whilst touring the south of Sri Lanka. Lovely room overlooking the beach which is very popular with surfers 🏄‍♂️ Great welcome by the check in team and was able to park the car right outside the hotel. Nice meal in front of the hotel with very friendly staff.

Stayed here after other accomodation fell through. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Beautiful right handed wave breaking off the point (definitely not a beginner wave for those considering). Food was good and beer was cold at the restaurant. Rooms were great for their price and staff were friendly. It was quiet as it was at the end of the beach but a short walk to the busy restaurants

We had a lovely stay at the hotel . The staff are extremely friendly and the owner was very helpful and kind . It is nicely tucked away at the end of the bay with beautiful sunrises and a more chill vibe than the busy middle section of the beach which is just a couple of minutes walk . There is a small reef and you can sit and watch the surfers try the waves and paddle in the lagoon calm water right in front of the restaurant . The food is also very good and prepared with care . Proper cappuccino too ! We hope to be back next year . Oliver Lam-Clark

Hotel fronte spiaggia che da direttamente sullo spot di surf a Mirissa. La posizione e la buona e comoda colazione con bowls, pancakes e altro post surf sono l’unica cosa positiva dell’albergo. La nostra camera era minuscola (quasi claustrofobica) senza finestre ed estremamente sporca (anche lenzuola, asciugamani e tappeti) oltre che umidissima. Si sente tutto quello che accade nelle altre stanze e nelle vicinanze, complice anche la musica proveniente dal ristorante e dai locali vicini dalla mattina fino a tarda notte. Inoltre, sono anche in corso dei lavori nella struttura. Servizio in generale scarso. Dovevamo stare 6 notti, dopo la seconda siamo scappati e abbiamo dormito in un albergo poco distante. Ogni tanto siamo tornati in stanza per prendere alcune cose che avevamo lasciato lì e non sono mai passati - in 6 giorni - a pulire la stanza o cambiare gli asciugamani. Non consiglierei l’albergo per più di una notte o massimo due, se proprio non si hanno altre opzioni. Non ho provato pranzo e cena ma non sembra entusiasmante.
