Arrived Saturday 15th June for golf weekend with my brothers and nephew. Owners very welcoming on arrival. Room with en suite very clean and comfortable with good views. Very well placed for short walk to golf (Routenburn) and into town for food and drinks. Probably one of the best breakfasts I have experienced in a very long time and definitely sets you up for the day If you are looking for a short seaside break in Largs I would thoroughly recommend The Woodhouse

We didn't have a booking - but called in hoping that we would be able to get a room. We were lucky, a lovely room with a large bay window and evening sun. We received a warm welcome from a lady who was very helpful with recommendations for dinner. We were too late to eat at the hotel. We ate at Tinto Tapas which was very good. The breakfast was excellent, I am not usually a fan of a cooked breakfast, but as it was the first day of our trip I decided to try it - I am so glad I did, great local black pudding, haggis, sausages and bacon etc Thank you very much - we hope to return.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Friendly staff. Would definitely reccommend this hotel to anyone visiting Largs. A 15 min. walk into the town along the shore front. Evening meals are available in the bar area and are reasonably priced. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

A great hotel for the price, with an excellent breakfast included. Buffet style offering fruit, yogurt and cereal, plus a full Scottish if you want it. The hotel has a bar, and a garden to have your drinks in, although I didn’t sample this myself. The single room was small but perfectly formed, and extremely clean. It had everything including a hairdryer and a hot water bottle! The only downside was a soft mattress, a bit too bouncy for my back. But if you want to sample Largs then you couldn’t go far wrong staying here.

We found all the staff very welcoming and really friendly so we felt right at home. Our room was lovely bright and clean and the bed large and comfortable. We booked breakfast and this was great. The gardens were nice and even better when it's warm and sunny. Largs seafront is over the road and the centre moments walk away. Very much enjoyed stay and will come back.

This was an excellent visit from the moment my wife and I arrived till we checked out. Our host offered to help with our bags. The room was clean and tidy. We had an evening meal good was superb. We slept well and had a great breakfast in the morning. All in all great value for the money.

Stayed for one night as visiting family locally. We had a very enjoyable stay, room was clean, bed linen was spotless, nice fluffy towels. Breakfast was excellent - small but nice selection of continental breakfast and a delicious cooked breakfast available. We were impressed at the choice of cooked breakfast. Very friendly too. The hotel is old fashioned but it's a lovely stay and we will return again.

Fabulous time for my brother in laws 60th. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. Such big portions, and plenty of choice. We all loved the buffet. The bar was warm and cosy and the room we had the function in was just perfect. Everyone had a great nite, and several of us stayed overnite. The rooms were beautiful, clean and bright. Our room had a balcony and we got to take our dogs with us. They loved it too. Breakfast was just amazing! And the manager and his staff couldnt hav been more accomodating. Absolutely loved it. ＜3

Under 10 minute walk from Largs Town Centre. I had a very comfortable stay. Room was very clean. No external noise. Hotel has a Bar area and Restaurant. the Breakfast was great, freshly cooked. All Staff were really nice. i would stay here again on next visit to Largs.
